from the story line to the narrator, this series is filled with inspiration of how it would be if the power went out. I also believe it's pretty realistic. from the way people will react to how the government might react. maybe not now, but definitely if it were the leadership from 2021 to 2025.

what i have suspected and feared about our sick woke society is even worse than could be imagined.

my husband and son served and serve in the army. my husband got out before the woke garbage. thankfully, my son a combat medic, listens to and internally laughs at the woke agenda training and focuses on learning to save lives. He graduated May 2024 . may Trump and you please turn the military and this country around so that America is truly worth fighting for again. with you and Trump at the helm, I have hope once again. blessed be and thank you for being the warrior that you are!

while this was an excellent story, written with amazing visualization, the whole thing was ruined by the narrator. he might be great for other styles of writing, but he ruined thus most excellent tale. if it were to ever be re narrated, I'd listen again, I'm really sorry many won't be reached because the narrator ruined the tone of this particular stoey.

AI will be a reflection of us

My mind has been nibbling at worry regarding AI. folks are in an uproar over gender issues and political issues, but my underlying concern has been AI.

while in no shape or form did this book help to relieve those worries, it simply refocused my concern where it should be. on the human race.

I personally know that everything will work out just as it should. I believe we are spiritual beings having a physical experience, so if some or most of us are destroyed by our AI children, I know it's if our own doing and part of the human experience.

this book convinced me that we humans are in for a huge ass kicking in the near future. because the call to action is to be good humans, treating ourselves and others with the purity of love. I have little faith that those in charge or those skipping around on the net saying hateful things to each other or driving forward for clicks and likes will be good parents.

I'm blessed to live a life close to nature. that I am conscious and was able to hear what Mo had to share , but without hate or malice, I just don't see us being good parents or stewards to our incredible creation of AI.

thank you Mo for your words of wisdom and honest assement of our global situation.

I'll catch you at the bon fire in 2050. looking forward to sharing tales of the last 25 years and how we did!

Where did Holly go?

I have been and will continue to be a King fan. I'm 55 been a Constant reader since I was 12. Salems Lot, followed by nearly everything he's written.

I'm sorry that the world has created a King that felt the need to depict a character in such a way to state his own beliefs. The Holly in this story went off the rails with her desired suffering and even death of non vaxers. It was gross and sad.

The blantent political agendas were disturbing. As well as the most disgusting description of Trump supporters and those who refused the jab, I know many on that side and non match the characters depicted here .

i think what horrified me the most was the fact that Holly's personality didn't even match her past personality. I understand she grew as a person, but this Holly was a fake and was designed to shame anyone who did not believe as she does.

Again, I'm so sorry our society has dipped so low that such an amazing entertainer felt he needed to set aside his honor as a full spectrum creator that stood by the truth of his character creations, whether he liked them or not, agreed with them or not.

The story will be ...for me...an example of how horrible our world has gotten. And how sadly we treat each other. Hate will never win. no matter how much we think it will.

Mother Abigale must be turning over in her grave. this is not STANDING this is cowering.

Blessed be Mr. King, I hope you find your honorable voice again. I will not retreat as a Constant Reader or judge you too harshly for being human, but my hope is that you remember your role as the world's best entertainer and not a political agent.

It was great to visit with Adrian and his crew again. Loved the story, dying a little inside knowing I'll have to wait again for the next book!. I miss the old narrator, but this one is catching on to me a bit. Sigh. Love your imagination Chris, and so grateful you share it with the world!

memories abound

I walked the El Camino De Santiago in May 2019, about 500 miles. I could relate to do much shared, I feel like we are friends with common memories. while our journeys were different the emotions were so similar. this was a joyful reminder of my own Camino! BUEN CAMINO for a lifetime

narrator ruined a good story

this narrator made everyone sound like a whining Nellie Olsen, from Little House On the Prairie. For the first time in my life, I could not finish a book I started.

Everyone from badass bikers to seasoned military elite, were depicted like whiny little girls.

I think the story may have been good, but I just couldn't tell.
