Historia
When you discover the world is a computer program, and you figure out that by altering the code you can time travel and perform acts that seem like magic, what can possibly go wrong? Pretty much everything. Just ask Brit, who has jumped around in time with such abandon that she has to coexist with multiple versions of herself. Now, Brit the Elder finds that her memories don't match Brit the Younger's.

Philip deserved better
Revisado: 04-25-25
Once again the voice performance was phenomenal, but if we are supposed to view Brit as the hero/protagonist, she is the least likeable one ever. She is smug and selfish and blames everyone else for problems she herself caused. I hope she gets a dose of humble pie in future books.

Best of the series

I’ve read the entire series and this is by far my favorite. The adventure back into the real world makes for some hilarious situations.

Not as riveting as the first two books but still good
Revisado: 11-11-16
The narrator for the first two books was so much better that this book took awhile to adjust. The story being told from children's point of view is unique but grows tiresome after awhile.

Amazing story and performance!
Revisado: 08-25-16
I can't say enough wonderful things about this book. It's one of those rare instances where it feels like a story written just for me. If you grew up in the 80's, love video games, RPG's, or just adventure stories in general you will love this book! Great narration too, well done Wheaton!

A woman gets involved with a psychic who may be able to find her missing son. Five footprints are the only sign that four-year-old Daniel Buck was ever here. Every day, Anna Buck guards the little prints in the cement. Polishing them to a shine. Keeping them safe. Spiraling toward insanity. Anna is desperate for hope, which she's not getting from the police or her husband, James. So when a woman tells her she's found a true psychic, a "shut eye", she grasps at it. Maybe he can tell her what happened to her son.

Most Disturbing Book I've Ever Heard
Revisado: 05-24-16
This book reads like a worst case parenting scenario to anyone with daughters. Unsettling and extremely graphic, not for the faint of heart. The story is engaging if you can stomach the language and subject matter.

Historia
This incredible story shows how John Douglas tracked and participated in the hunt for one of the most notorious serial killers in U.S. history. For 31 years a man who called himself BTK (Bind, Torture, Kill) terrorized the city of Wichita, Kansas, sexually assaulting and strangling a series of women, taunting the police with frequent communications, and bragging about his crimes to local newspapers and TV stations.

Narration is abysmal
Revisado: 05-18-16
I’ve read all of Douglas’s books and they are all good reads, but this one doesn’t measure up to some of his early releases. The BTK backstory is great, but there is too much filler of Douglas re-telling old stories from his other book and self congratulatory back patting.
The narration is probably one of the worst I’ve ever heard with more mispronounciations than I can even list here. Pro tip: If you’re going to narrate a book about an FBI case, learn how to pronounce Quantico.
