Good dark story

This book grabs you from the get go and holds on till the end. The whole first half of the book is almost like a mystery, there really isn't any romance or erotic parts. But just as you are thoroughly engulfed in the mystery of the book, the eroticism starts. I couldn't hardly put it down, it was that interesting. excellent author and excellent narrator!!!

Loved this book!!

Better than the first!! The author does such a good job mixing the first book with this one. The books run along the same timeline, that totally different perspectives. Kara is one of the most interesting, funny and hyper characters I've ever heard. The has such a draw to her, you will instantly fall in love. The narrator is Great, he has perfect cadence and voices for each character. I would have loved to hear more about her exploits and mischievous adventures!! I hope the author makes more books that are along this line. Now off to book 3!

Not as good as book 1

Well... The I found the book boring with little interest. Sara gets taken to a desolate location and tries to escape, but doesn't. Her captor goes on missions. They go to another location where she tries to escape, but gets into a minor car accident and gets cought. Lots of throwing around emotions, he wants to get her pregnant and she refuses to admit to wanting him. That's pretty much the book in a nutshell. As for the narration, the male narrator is great, but as for the female... Halfway through the reading Tracy (the female narrator) changed tempo to her reading. She is great at the beginning, reading it well, but them she changes to breathy and monotonous reading about 6 words and pausing for a second or two. She takes 5 minutes to read a paragraph. So the story becomes droning and I found myself setting the speed to 1.5 and skipping through parts just to get to the end.

excellent dark romance

This story revolves around a Russian whose wife and child are murdered. He goes in search of one of the suspects wife and basically inserts himself into her life. She is a Dr. and knows his influence, so she is intimidated into silence. She ultimately discovers who her husband was and truths about their marriage. Excellent story and narrators.

Make sure to listen to Bound first as this book goes off the first 2 books in the series. Great storyline and continuation.

Pride and Prejudice with a Ton of honor. This book is fantastic!! The narrators are amazing and top notch. The story reads wonderfully and gives an exquisite insight into martial arts and Asian bondage.

Very good book, some slow parts, but good read!! I read 'Delicate freekin' flower, and although not as much humor as that book, this one was very enjoyable!! Love the author and narrator!!
