Historia
Was What's My Line TV star, media icon, and crack investigative reporter and journalist Dorothy Kilgallen murdered for writing a tell-all book about the JFK assassination? If so, is the main suspect in her death still at large? These questions and more are answered in former CNN, ESPN, and USA Today legal analyst Mark Shaw's 25th book, The Reporter Who Knew Too Much.

Bad writing and bad narrating
Revisado: 05-18-23
The concept of the book was in intriguing, but I was very surprised at how bad the writing was. Some examples of what bothered me are: using the same adjective repeatedly within 2 or 3 sentences, repeating the same concepts word-for-word throughout the book. and not actually having conclusions. Certainly a skilled author could find different ways to reiterate points without quoting the exact same words. Throughout the book the author said things like my attempts to contact a particular person failed or my attempt to gather information about something failed. So they really was very little but that the other could actually prove. The narrator was very frustrating for me, She had a woman voice and a man voice and every single character sounded exactly the same. It was boring and I kept forcing myself to get through the book to see if it would get better but it really didn't.

Historia
Once described by The Washington Post as "the most interesting mayor you've never heard of", Pete Buttigieg, the 36-year-old Democratic mayor of South Bend, Indiana, has improbably emerged as one of the nation's most visionary politicians. First elected in 2011, Buttigieg left a successful business career to move back to his hometown, previously tagged by Newsweek as a "dying city", and transformed it into a shining model of urban reinvention.

South Bend is so proud of Mayor Pete, now Secretary Pete. I live in SB and voted for Pete, but still learned so much from this book. he's a remarkable young man.

The last message from his father is to get away from the city and to meet at his grandparents' town in remote New Hampshire.

I really enjoyed the descriptions of the Apollo missions! I learned a few new things, and I'm left wondering, again, why we haven't continued with plans to keep exploring and working in space.
