Good True Stories
Revisado: 07-25-17
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher. This true crime collection was
full of some very interesting tales. It had a few that I was familiar with, but most I was not. It was pretty good. There were a few of the stories that I thought kind of drug on and had too much information about the case. Other than that and the fact that I was not a fan of the narrator, it was a good read. I did not like the way the narrator pronounced some words and how he said the dates of the stories.

Historia
On April 21, 2016, three vastly different individuals of different ages woke up on top of their graves. Each of them died on April 20 but in different years, and each of them had not aged since their untimely deaths. The three struggled to acclimate themselves into a society that doubted their identity. People didn't believe them. Beverley and Frank sought revenge against the tormentors who were responsible for their violent deaths. Madison, who feared being sent to an orphanage, searched for someone to care for her.

Great Read
Revisado: 07-23-17
This book is by far the best yet by this author. I still have 1 more to read by him, but this one was great. I was drawn in to the character's problems from the get go and was very emotionally invested in them and how they were going to convince everyone that they had come back from the dead. It really makes you think about revenge / karma / fate and how just doing one small thing differently can alter the course of your life forever. I was very impressed by this book and would definitely recommend reading it. Not all that impressed with the narrator, but she was ok.

great read
Revisado: 06-30-17
This book was very good. It started out slow to me. It seemed like in the beginning it took too long to get to the point. However once it got going it was great and it kept a steady pace and maintained my interest throughout. It reminded me of somewhat of a mixture of the movies " The Time Traveler's Wife" and " Groundhog's Day". It definitely makes you think about life and the choices we make every day. As a mother, it absolutely makes me realize the importance of every second I spend with my daughter.

one of the best true crime I have read
Revisado: 06-29-17
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher. This is by far one of the best true crime books that I have read so far. The way the facts and the story were presented was great. It didn't seem to include any unnecessary information, as some other books have. It was easy to follow and it maintained my interest throughout the entire thing. It made me feel so many emotions listening to the sick story of Darren O'Neal. I found myself angry, disgusted, sad, hopeful, disappointed, anxious and resentful. The narrator was great. Smooth and easy to listen to. Great expectations for this author for his other books I have yet to read.

such a good book
Revisado: 06-27-17
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher. I was very impressed by this book. It was action packed throughout the whole thing. The plot was completely believable and well developed. I had my suspicions as to who the killer was , but it wasn't confirmed until the very end. I don't usually enjoy terrorist plots, but this one was a great mix of terrorist and serial killer. The narrator was smooth to listen to. Excellent story that I am glad I read.

Historia
The dead can still talk - as Lawrence Juste is about to find out - and what they have to say is deadly. He thought he'd eluded the nemesis from his past - even made some kind of atonement for abandoning his family by defending his sister's child against a murder charge. His black had become a mere dirty grey, with the possibility of being bleached enough to still make High Court Judge if he'd played his cards right, hadn't it?

great second book in the trilogy
Revisado: 06-23-17
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher. I was very impressed with this book. It started a bit slow for my liking, but it picked up and kept right on going. Full of the same super complex characters as the first book, there are so many twists in here that you never know what you think you know. Love the narrator. Very easy to listen to. I found myself upset at the end of the book because I didn't want it to end. I needed more. Good thing there is another book then.

slow start, but great book
Revisado: 06-21-17
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher. This was a great book about a mysterious insurance fraud and kidnapping plot. It started out pretty slow, but once it picked up it was great. I was constantly trying to figure out who the kidnappers were. It was well written and easy to follow. The narrator did a great job. She was smooth and easy to listen to. Glad I read this book.

Historia
This is the story of the final 48 hours of the RMS Titanic, its first and last voyage. The story is told in a compelling countdown that ends mere hours after the ship's sinking. This book describes the last days, actions, and thoughts of architect Thomas Andrews and passenger Margaret Brown, known as the Unsinkable Molly Brown, as they interact with other passengers and crew members during these last 48 hours. While Miss Brown enjoys her cruise and her interactions with everyone onboard, Mr. Andrews is at first proud and then haunted by this stately ship.

Revisado: 06-20-17
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher. I thought this book was written very well. The facts included in it were directly in line with what I already knew. It was interesting to hear what could have potentially taken place between Molly Brown and Thomas Andrews during the trip. The narrator did a great job. He was smooth and easy to listen to, and did a wonderful job with the accents.

pretty good
Revisado: 06-13-17
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher. This book was pretty good. The plot was good. I didn't figure out who the culprit was until close to the end. This is the second book I have read from this author. One thing I can say that kind of bugs me about the writing style is that I feel that a lot of it is very simplistic. Like, the characters would repeat information they had learned or plans they would make. All in the same conversation. This type of thing just isn't my cup of tea, but other than that it was good.

surprised me (in a good way)
Revisado: 06-13-17
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher. This book surprised me by how good it was. I am not usually a huge paranormal fan, but this was really interesting. It was intelligently written and funny. The plot was pretty original. I loved how the bomb part of the story played out. The characters were well developed and easy to find yourself getting wrapped up in what happens to them and rooting for them. Narrator was great. Smooth and easy to listen to. Very good read.
