This is the first book in The Friends of Gaynor Beach Animal Rescue Series. I really wanted to like this book, but it just didn’t work for me. It was slow and needed more world building. For those looking for a slow and cozy book this might work for you. It had a good idea for the story but not much of a plot line. I may try again later to listen to this story, the narration was good, and it wasn’t a bad story.

A Great Book

This is the first book in The Rossingley Series. I found this story and its characters stunning. I don’t give very many 5 star reviews in fact I can’t even remember the last one that I gave that’s how few. But I am giving this one 5 stars not because it was perfect because it wasn’t. But this story enthralled me and kept me in involved with its characters. I have read and listened to so many books that I can easily get bored with a story. That didn’t happen with this one I wanted the next book “RIGHT NOW”.

The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. The characters were well developed and thought out. Jay and Lucien are the MC’s of this book. I will admit that this book probably isn’t for everyone but if you have an open mind and like substance to a story jump on this book. The narration I have mixed feeling about. I think that the narrator did a good job. It wasn’t monotone and there were places that the emotion was brought out to its fullest. My problem is that he wasn’t my favorite as far as his voice. There wasn’t anything wrong it was more a personal thing like preferring blue eyes instead of brown there’s nothing wrong with either but everyone has their own preference. I can highly recommend this as a good read/listen. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

This is the third book in The Supernatural Selection Series. I would read the first two books of this series to fully enjoy this one. I hadn’t read them and although I did enjoy this book a lot, I wish that I had read the other books first. A sensational book the writing was great. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters wonderful. The characters were well developed and thought out. Hamish and Zeke are the MC’s of this book. The narration was really good it wasn’t monotone and it had good emotional range. I can recommend this book as a good read/listen. This is the fifth book in The Fog City Series. Please read the books in order to obtain the fullest enjoyment from this book. Fantastic story the writing was great. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters likeable. The characters were developed and thought out. Braxton and Holt are the MCs of this book. The narration was good while the narrators voice wasn’t my preference, he did a good job. It wasn’t monotone and he did a good attempt at different voices. I can recommend it as a good read/listen. A Great Story, Not So Good Narration

This is the fourth book in Fog City Series. I would read/listen to the previous books before this one. You might not understand a lot of things otherwise. This is a great story and I really enjoyed it. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters engaging. The characters were developed and thought out. Helena and Celia are the MCs of this book. I loved this story and will read/listen to the next. As good as the story was the narration on the other hand was not good. It was monotone and emotionless; I do think that she tried but it was a fail. Most of the time I didn’t know what character was talking or thinking. Most of them sounded the same and she was unable to have different voices for each character. Fortunately, I had previously read the book so I knew it was good because I had to stop listening to the narration. Unfortunately, I can recommend this book as a great read but not a good listen.
