The third book in this series starts off at the same pace as the last two, then the author seems to go all Sanderson on us, bogged down in the detail with the story staling out.
Chapters of metaphysical this, multiverse that, and explanations of time, followed by cosmic politics.
At two books and 50 chapters into book three I’m dropping this out of boredom.

Still a good story. Will be picking up the third one.

A good premise, decent story telling, reminds me of Beneath the Dragon eye moons a bit, but the MC is a little bit of a wet blanket.
She’s continuously over shadowed by her over-sharing side kick. Who can’t seem stop spilling all the secrets to anyone who will hold still long enough to hear them.
Seemed to pick up a bit at the end and I love Tess Irondale’s narration so, I’ll pick up book two.
