Changed my life.
Revisado: 10-26-19
After reading this book I became an accidental Buddhist myself. Well that’s an overstatement but I certainly took an interest in Buddhism. One that has lasted me 30 years and enriched my life greatly.

Historia
From the author of 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos comes a provocative hypothesis that explores the connection between what modern neuropsychology tells us about the brain and what rituals, myths, and religious stories have long narrated. A cutting-edge work that brings together neuropsychology, cognitive science, and Freudian and Jungian approaches to mythology and narrative, Maps of Meaning presents a rich theory that makes the wisdom and meaning of myth accessible to the critical modern mind.

This book is incomprehensible
Revisado: 06-26-19
Admittedly, I am a layman but I was unable to understand what the author was saying. He used so many unknown or vague words in a rapid session that I was unable to understand his meaning. Even if I could follow the sentences. I would use all my brain power to understand the sentence and was unable to connect the sentences to grasp bigger the themes the author was expressing.
