I like the Q&A at the end with the audience, it was more spontaneous in the variety on questions asked. For those who aren't aware, this is a recorded presentation. He is going through slides in front of an audience. I still found some nuggets in here as he's giving an overview of many concepts that I could just google later if I wanted to know more in depth.

To the point

Enjoyed getting an inside look into the values of a very intelligent man and successful hedge fund. This definitely gave me perspective on the pitfalls of the camping I work for and where I can improve my life in general. 5 stars overall and performance! I gave 4 stars for story, there are a lot of stories in here to illustrate the points but the intention of the book is not to be a story, I feel it's more of a guide to learn the principles and apply them yourself to your business, workplace or life in general.

This book hits on the major points needed to achieve goals. It's not too long and gets straight to the crux of what is need to be learned. I would definitely recommend. Great book to live by.

You have to hear this

I've read plenty of books on finance and investing, recently graduated with a finance degree and can genuinely say I've learned from this book. I picked it up after Howard Marks' book. Filled with knowledge and memorable anecdotes. One of the best if not the best book I've read on investing.

Insight into the mind of a great investor

I have a bachelors in finance and I could've read this book and came out with the equivalent knowledge on finance and investment theory plus the view of a great investor. I would definitely recommend. I gave it 4 stars mostly because I am in the industry and have most of this knowledge already. There are some great nuggets in here from his past memos to investors, but don't expect it to be a how to book.

By far best self development book.

This book has all the answers. I think I can just keep reading it over and over and it will bring me more value than 90% of other books.
