What a lovely surprise this book was. It's been a while since I've read a Kendall Ryan book so I'm glad I gave this one a listen. Fun, solid hockey book with a typical outcome but it sure was entertaining and hot!

I had to give this one 5 even if I had a minor problem here and there. It was fun, well written and funny. I absolutely adored Gavin and his friends. His issue touched me so much and explained a lot. Very much looking forward to the next book.

I loved the story! Light on the romance but I'll definitely be reading more. Secrets, lies, betrayal. Good stuff!
I loved the h and her relationship with her brother. The loss of a star is Logan. He took a bit to warm up to and I really questioned his desire to be with Amelia, especially early on. Not a fan of his actions being one way but his words being another.

It took me a bit to get into it but at about 40% I was invested. The performances were pretty good, writing fine but the pacing was a bit too slow at times. I really liked the H and his friends and the fact that he was in the theater. The ending was cute. The name thing for the female characters was creative too.
