Love This Author
Revisado: 06-16-24
I do not usually review books because I’m a simplistic person. I like just about any book with an interesting story line, it flows well, and the characters are well developed and I’m not constantly confusing them. I have found that I can trust any book by Daniel Hurst. This one was no exception. Great story!

Good Read
Revisado: 03-21-23
I have now read (listened to) several Kathryn Croft books. For me, there is never a “wow” moment, but it’s always a solid story that keeps me wondering what is next. I’m in my early 60s so I’ve probably at some point met someone like the main character, but even if I haven’t, it’s a story! This author has impressed me by always very intricately weaving the lives of the characters in such a way that I am never sure just how it’s going to play out in the end.

Superbly Done!
Revisado: 12-25-22
This is my first book by this author. It was as if listening to two separate stories while the characters and history are being developed. The author then weaved the two together leaving no question unanswered. I personally felt the storyline was interesting and unique, as well as, uniquely told.

There was no big WOW factor, yet many small twists that kept me listening. I didn’t want to take a break. There were some true historical events weaved into some very unique relationships indicative of the times.
Fine research and writing!
