Insufferable protagonist

This was such a difficult listen. The protagonist, Nora, might be one of the least well-rounded and thoughtful women I’ve ever read/heard. She lacks logic and has approximately zero sense of common sense. I listened to this against my will and am typing this as I’m listening to the last few minutes.
This could have been such a great little romance if the characters were developed as people and not ideas. Working for death sounds amazing, but unfortunately we don’t know anything about that because Nora complained the entire time.

Just awful

I completed the audiobook against my own will, as a matter of principle. This overly done tragedy was a tougher listen than Infinite Jest and far less sensical. The performances are lovely as always, but this book was an absolute waste of a good trilogy plot. It reads like an AI being prompted to add more details. Please do t waste your funds or credit on this absolute disappointment. Cheers.
