Any books narrated by SY is a go to to but pair him up with the right book and OMG! #Eargasm! This had a great storyline. i often got frustrated at the heroin for being stubborn and stuck on "emelia" but her furry pets got me to like her even more lol.

I love a good strong female lead and Stevie did not disappoint. The narrator did an awesome job going back and forth with the main leads. The twist and turns towards the end of the book got me on edge!!! Now, the start of this book is kinda sensitive but that all plays into part of how our female lead became to what she is. This is told from her point of view so the male character is a big part of her story and how she discovers that she wants to live the life she chooses. As I said before, there were a lot of twist & turns towards the ending so I didn't know it was coming to an end once I heard "epilogue" ughhh!!! I wanted more!!!
