Historia
Sportswriter Sally Jenkins has spent her entire adult life observing and writing about great coaches and athletes. With her engaging and expert prose, she has helped shape the way we view these talented sports icons. But somewhere along the line, she realized, they had begun to shape her. Now, she presents the astonishing inner qualities in these same people that pushed them to overcome pressure, elevate their performances, and discover champion identities.

Great listen
Revisado: 10-12-23
Very thought provoking and intentional. As an elite athlete myself there are a lot of great lessons and stories from world renowned athletes and coaches to learn from. It’s a constant reminder that being deliberate can be a powerful tool among many to find success.

Historia
Real estate investors used to build wealth the hard way: slowly saving money and sacrificing their current happiness for a future reward. This method produces results in the long run but what if there's a better, more efficient way that works in years instead of decades? Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat (BRRRR) is the five-part real estate investing strategy that makes financial freedom more attainable than ever: You buy a property under market value, add value with renovations, rent it out to tenants, complete a cash-out refinance, and then use that money to do it all over again.

Outdated concept for today’s market
Revisado: 07-26-23
This book could use an update to reflect current market conditions of high interest rates and property values. I suppose the ideas could have been useful back in 2019, but it’s hard to relate to given the current times and I would not recommend wasting your time with it. Every example for BRRR was a best case scenario and then the examples against were made up and completely worse case with incredible bias. I would have expected a more critical analysis between the traditional method of REI vs BRRR, but instead the delivery comes across as slimy and manipulative. The required $40k-80k properties to buy with cash are nonexistent, and saving up to buy in cash in this setting is not going to be possible for the majority of people that are just starting out in today’s economy.
