Angsty and Addictive

It was a great continuation of the first book. Love the narration. Love all the yearning. Love that there are no miscommunication tropes. I did feel like this was a lead up to the last book. It was a little redundant at some points, and it felt like the overall story didn’t progress much. But I think it builds a great foundation for the third book.

Such a wonderful book

This book speaks to so many important life experiences in a natural, humanistic and thoughtful way. Parental relationships, friendship, the pressures of a successful life, the significance of culture, parenthood, grief and being a woman! I related to so many parts of this story. It helped me understand myself and process my own life experiences with a kinder perspective. Such a good read. And the audio version is great!

Loved this book!

This was such a fun quick read. I love dual perspective romance stories. The narrator was great. The story itself was spunky and light but had enough plot to keep me intrigued. I love the side characters. I love this author so much. She makes me want to be friends with these characters in real life.

Emotional roller coaster in the best way

I loved this book. The more I think about it, the more I appreciate it. It was a slow start, but understandably because there are many story lines woven together. I loved the real life topics that were explored. It was a very unique story full of fun characters and showed real life and love and a few tears were shed. Just when you think you figure it out….it will surprise you.
