Regency time travel? YES PLEASE!
Revisado: 11-15-24
Lia Riley's story is an absolute delight. It has just enough Jane Austen easter eggs for those of us who are fans yet is also accessible to anyone who might not (gasp!) be familiar with Austen's work or life. Puck and Prejudice is smart, laugh out loud funny, sexy, heartwarming, and swoony as hell. Will Damron's narration is the icing on this delicious cake!

Hanukkah Romance!
Revisado: 11-22-23
Love this one. I've listened a couple of times. It's like one of Rachel's warm hugs. Also, the LOLs. The mention of gefilte fish to kill a romantic moment? Amazing. And Eva Kaminsky and Jason Clarke are just an absolute deligt. Can't wait to listen to the next two in the series!

I enjoyed Sydney Smyth's When Harry Met Harry so was excited to see another title by the same author. I listened to Bridesmates in one sitting! Adorable, funny, sexy, and just a hell of a lot of fun. Plus...TEDDY HAMILTON.

With a salesman at her side, maybe stage fright won’t paralyze her completely when she presents her meticulously prepared research to clients. And maybe she can save her job. Romance is the last thing on her to-do list, but a meet-cute with a Shakespeare-quoting bartender has her speculating on the value of diversifying her life portfolio.

Perfect blend of nostalgia and swoon!
Revisado: 10-03-20
Such a lovely debut from one of my favorite audiobook narrators! I loved the 80s nostalgia, the answering machine message lead-ins to each chapter, and be still my Shakespeare loving heart--a theatre actor hero (named Will) who quotes from the bard! The audio is fantastic. I've always loved Karen White's narration, but how have I missed out on Joe Arden??? His performance--especially in a pretty emotional scene toward the end--was off the charts. Welcome to the top of my list, Mr. Arden. You and Ms. White make a fabulous audio pair!

Delightful, adorable...I couldn't stop listening. WHEN HARRY MET SALLY is my favorite romcom of all time, so I had high expectations for Harry and Harry, and they did not disappoint. I grinned from ear to ear the entire time I listened.

A beautiful end to a brilliant trilogy!
Revisado: 03-29-13
Would you listen to The Clockwork Princess again? Why?
Yes. I am already. The story. Oh my god, the story! Cassandra Clare has outdone herself, and Daniel Sharman narration is as perfect as the story. He is Will. He is Jem. And because of the impeccable realness he brings to these characters, I'm even more devastated to be done with this book.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Clockwork Princess?
THE EPILOGUE!!!! My eyes well up just thinking about it. To read it is to choke back sobs (all in a good way).
Which scene was your favorite?
The cave scene in Cadair Idris.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
YES! I did laugh quite a bit. Gideon and Gabriel Lightwood are great comic relief among the heaviness that is the main story here. I sobbed at the end. Flat out sobbed.
Any additional comments?
This is my favorite book of the trilogy, my favorite trilogy in general. And Daniel Sharman, thank you for bringing my favorite Shadowhunters so beautifully to life.

Everyone Should Read This Book!
Revisado: 04-09-12
Where does Thirteen Reasons Why rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This is one of the top for me, especially since the format of the book has Clay, the MC, listening to Hannah's tapes. I felt like I was having the experience with Clay, and I loved both of the actors performing the text.
What did you like best about this story?
This an important book to read for anyone who has a teen/teens in their life. I was a teen once (and only once, thank goodness), but I’ve spent the past eleven years working in a high school. The difference is that now, as an adult, I can look back on all that made me miserable in my teen years and know that there is so much more to life than the volatile ecosystem that is the American high school. Many adults expect teens to just get this, but how can they? They have not lived beyond this experience yet, and without a guarantee that life will get better, some teens make the same decision that Hannah makes.
What about Debra Wiseman and Joel Johnstone ’s performance did you like?
They simply were Clay and Hannah. That's all there is to it.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Everything affects everything.
