I love this universe, it’s cozy, interesting, and well crafted. I honestly feel spoiled by the author. The time lines the over laps the careful considerations for each character and universe development. I cannot wait for the next installment.

I listen on my way to work and I have loved getting to lose myself in this world. The characters are fun, the plot is enticing, the pace is good. Each book was better than the last. The foreshadowing done tastefully and not too obvious. The narrator was wonderful.

The plot, characters, flow, and narration are mint. It’s so nice to lose myself in a book again. I wish the author had more books out, the writing style is quality that is hard to find.

Such a great storyline, lore, magic system. Characters are fun, story progression well done. Dialogue is interesting and natural. Best book I’ve read in a year.

Great premise, transactional execution

I loved the idea of the plot and sunk into books 1-3 for the 30 hours for one credit.The dialogue can be repetitive, predictable, and transactional. The good guys are good, the bad guys are bad. There’s not a lot of twists and turns. But I think the world building is done well enough, and I’m willing to see how I feel about book 4 with another narrator. Travis baldree has done a lot of books I enjoyed just not this one. I feel like everyone needed an English accent.

This is the biggest waste of time I’ve ever spent 13 dollars on. If you would like the most basic outlines and fluff when it comes to overarching concepts please pay for this book. So far I’ve learned that teachers and graphic designers and food managers need to focus on safety and details. Wedding planners will need an activity list and to consider if the venue should be outside or inside. Absolute rubbish.

Kept waiting for the good part

I couldn’t get past what felt like a one hour introduction. I was hoping for concrete information. I learned more about the sources used to back up the concepts than the information itself or how to apply it.
