Predictable, but giod

I did not give this story 5 stars as it was very predictable. The story was very drawn out. It was like the book wasn't quite long enough, so the main issue was never resolved. In fact, the main character doesn't figure "things" completely out until the epilogue.

Not suited for short story

The concept for this story was good, but it was far too short. The couple had dated, but broken up 7 years . Now they meet and in the spand of a few moments pick up right where they left off. There was no development or dealing with past feelings. So disappointing and total let down. Really needs to be turned into longer book. The lack of development made it even too short for a short story.

Underdeveloped

Although this book was a nice story, it was not up to the standard of the other titles in this story line. The characters were underdeveloped with major gaps. More attention was placed on kissing than developing the attraction to get to the kissing. Hunky policeman's story line hinted at a back story why he was no longer a big city detective, but that was never developed. The wood nymph told her hero she was tired of being scared and felt safe with him, but readers were never really told why she was afraid of brought in on those feelings. The bad guy shows up, but no suspicion? No real details to develop fear or sense of danger? No detective sense alerts? Why was she on the run for so many years? The ending just kills the story. I will try not to spoil it, but a character who never had the ability to talk and has no special power to give him that ability suddenly tells the police officer how to save the girl and although he is from America, he has a British accent! Since he is not a shifter or some other magical being, he is never expected to talk again. Like I said the story and characters are very underdeveloped and not up to the quality you would expect in this series and I have read most of the books now. Disappointing, but not total write off.

Edge of seat

This is the second book I have listened to in this series. Although it could stand alone, the story is enhanced but being familiar with the characters and the background story. This book was exciting. It was full of unexpected twist and turns. The bad guy really throws you for a loop. This was a great way to spend an afternoon! I can with all confidence recommend Gator Bait!

Funny and entertaining

This was great! My husband and I heard this book while traveling. It was so entertaining! We laughed and were engaged the entire time. We both highly recommend this book!

Self Centered Can Be Change

At times this book seemed to drag, but overall this is a good story. I loved all the faithfulness of love that is the theme. There is of course romantic love, but I enjoyed the love between friends and family. I can recommend this book for a light take to the beach read that makes you feel good about life. The narrator did an excellent job portraying all of the characters.

I loved this story. Just when you thought it was going to get very predictable it took an unexpected turn. It was a good reminder that in every group there are good people as well as bad, so each person should be judged on their own merits. Not everything may be as you first thought so don't be so quick to judge without delving deeper.

Another winner

I thoroughly enjoyed book 1, Sucks to be Me, in this new series of First Fang Club. It is fast paced and full of twist and turns. Once again BJ Harrison's narration brings each character to life. The world today has gone mad! It is so refreshing to have a book with compassion, forgiveness, and mercy. This is a book the entire family can enjoy. I highly recommend Sucks to be Me.

This was an excellent book. the characters were well developed. The narrator was very good, although she did not know how to pronounce chaise lounge. I highly recommend this audio book.
