ending stinks

loved all of these books, well written, engaging, all the characters are wonderful &luke dangles is absolutely amazing w/voices & really bring life to the characters as I would guess the write wanted. I liked all of the neat historical info (true or not) that most of us don't even think about. jowever, the ending was terrible & I am truly disappointed in it!!
I agree Atticus had to "pay his tab" so to speak in the end, but it was a truly crappy way! everything that he is & does was just completely striped from him all because some stupid God has an ego trip & is completely petty about a fight, that she obviously got outnof, won & fully recovered from. Yes, he made mistakes, caused a lot of trouble, but killing him would have been more Humane. the ending stinks & I was NOT happy w/it at ALL.

She's a brat

For a 17 y/o who grew up with a biker gang brother/friends, she claims to be mature, yet she is a brat at all times. She is so inside her own head; she does not know how to actually communicate. For a person who believes herself to be bad-ass, independent & doesn't need anyone to "babysit" her, she sucks at speaking her mind.
Also, I feel sad for the author who seems to have a very limited vocabulary when trying to express emotions. I lost track of how many times the word fuck was used in a paragraph. I am not offended by the word at all, but most def offended by the fact that it was used so often in place of sooo many other words that could have been used to express emotion or a situation. The men are supposed to be older but act just as bratty as the 17yo & have less of an expressive vocabulary than she does. The sex scenes are hot, the story itself is a little more drama than I care for so I do not think I could recommend it.

this series is awesome! this is book 3 & I am excited to start book 4. the writer has a great sense of humor & u really feel like ur there in the scene or that u can relate to the characters. the narrator is pretty good w/voices & speaks very clearly

u think u know who did it, but u don't. then u start thinking maybe it's them, but then, why? it was a nice, wicked twist... good read for 2 hours

didn't make it thru

I didn't make it passed the 1st chapter. the narration is horrible. the distinction between female , male voices & the narration is so subtle, it is difficult to know who is speaking. hard to follow storyline or characters when u cannot tell who is who. I won't listen to another book by this narrator.

fun love story

starts out a little crazy & jittered, but soon winds down to steady increase of storyline; not sure of ending, knowing it s/b happy & is, but has u holding breath for a few...nice light story, romance. intimate sex, but not detailed or crude good sense of humor.

I only got about 5 chapters in & could see the predictable story. the mermaid is mischievous & u can just see the trouble she will cause. it did not keep my interest enough to finish.

good stories

3 very different stories, all appealing. 2nd story ended a bit abrupt, u have ro pay attention to beginning of it as it is the ending. 1st story had all happen in last 15 mins & although it was good, ending, was just unexpected. 3rd story was a nice ending, intriguing, not sure if he'll be caught or not & a very differnt topic making it an interesting story.

nice ahort stories

narrator is fairly good w/various voices, some not so separated. endings are nice & 1-2 unexpected, 1 was very quick ending, all wrapped up in 10 mins, but good cohesiveness throughout w/all the characters & scenery. would recommend for a pleasant listen.
