Historia
By the vow of her father and her own desire, Raederle was pledged to Morgon, Riddle-Master of Hed. But a year had passed since Morgon disappeared on his search for the High One at Erlenstar Mountain, and rumors claimed he was dead. Raederle set out to learn the truth for herself, though her small gift of magic seemed too slight for the perils she must face. The quest led through strange lands and dangerous adventures. Only her growing powers enabled her at last to reach Erlenstar Mountain.

This trilogy is a long time favorite of mine. I have read it more times than I can count. The audible version of book 1 was good but the narration was disappointing. This narrator is superb and captures every nuance of the people, settings, mystery, and suspense of the story. Loved it!

Marvelous story but the narration? Not so much.
Revisado: 09-24-20
I have read this series more times than I can count. Hearing it, I caught more nuances and cadence than reading alone. Sadly, the narration is weak. It was difficult to hear differences between voices and characters. Knowing the characters as well as I do, I could put it together but I believe it would be difficult for someone unfamiliar with these characters and these lands.

Amazingly beautiful
Revisado: 05-24-20
This is one of the most beautiful books I have ever listened to or read. The immersion in the natural world speaks to something deep and meaningful. The narration is superb. I will listen to this again and again. Unparalleled in every way.

Historia
This live performance of a powerful police procedural comes to life through the artistry of Celeste Lecesne and is accompanied by the original music of Duncan Sheik. Celeste portrays every character in a small Jersey Shore town as they unravel the story of Leonard Pelkey, a tenaciously optimistic and flamboyant 14-year-old boy who has gone missing. A luminous force of nature whose magic is only truly felt once he is gone, Leonard becomes an unexpected inspiration as the town’s citizens question how they live, who they love, and what they leave behind.

This book was just wonderful. The narrative was compelling and deeply moving on many levels, although sobering. The narrator was amazing. each character had a distinct voice which enhanced the story line. Fabulous.
