Wonderful story
Revisado: 02-20-25
Explores morality and power in a manner that is not idealistic or boring. The magic is not too over powered to lose scale and the characters are dynamic. A great story.

A solid addition!

After 12 books one would think it would be boating or the plot armor would be so apparent it would ruin the fun. But out of the 405+ books I’ve read this series is on of the most entertaining. Somehow it doesn’t get old and it doesn’t get weird.

One of the more humorous novels. I enjoy the writing and the story is well done. Switching times is a bit disorienting but with a bit of rereading it’s easily clear what’s happening. I’d love more.

All the pieces all the stories converge into one cohesive story. The warp is twisting mutating and chaotically shifting but the story remains clear. All around I’m a fan.

Historia
With Randidly Ghosthound's help, humanity has withstood the first impact of the System. Old institutions are re-erected as the Zones settle into new normalcy, characterized by the enthusiastic application of the scientific method to System principles and the stubborn return of pop culture and consumerism. Yet these familiar edifices of stability conceal an altogether new breed of monster. One that bears the face of a human but the beating heart of a horror. Randidly continues to investigate the mysterious Father Foster, the central figure of the rapidly expanding Unity Church.

Adding new characters who have some unique contributions is a good touch. The stoic hero is still a moving and interesting story. I can’t wait to see where the series goes.

Adventure, horror, suspense.
Revisado: 04-02-24
This book has got everything you could want in an adventure novel. Takes the hero story and adds some unique twists to it! Love the suspense and horror aspects to the storyline as well. Never dull and I love the word created! Bravo to the author and the narrator who made this masterful work.

Good plot terrible storyline
Revisado: 03-30-24
If you’re into furries and some odd main characters preferences this book may be for you. Really the premise is an excellent start and the character is likable enough. It’s just the fox people and crush on a horse man that made me just say no. The villains could use some work too. Lack of imagination in that department made me roll my eyes. In short there’s much better books out there I suggest reading them first.

Excellent story telling
Revisado: 03-25-24
You would think the story gets predictable or not I guess. Most authors drop one or two good books then fade. This one keeps firing on all cylinders for 3 books. A solid series. I hope the author keeps it up! There are some great characters in a manageable volume.

Historia
Arthur lives with his father, a fallen but proud former noble, in Border Village #49, along with the other good folks condemned to toil in service to the Baron. But Arthur has an edge: a stolen heart card that secretly fell into his possession, thanks to a dragon. It’s a priceless source of power for the Baron and the tyrant will kill to get it back. Invaluable, too, to a young man of spellcasting ambitions.
