Absolutely my top favorite fantasy book of all time!

This book had enough detail as if I was a fly on the wall.

From docile to badass violence has finally realized how much knowledge she truly holds when it comes to folk lore that her father has given her and how much she still needs to learn about life lessons of trust, friendship and love. ( book smart people stupid I suppose)
Vi also finds her true purpose now instead of being the scribe she was told she should have been by her father. Vi also found a new group of friends she never expected to befriend, love in the arms of danger, how long time friends are now the enemy and knows that not everyone and everything she was told growing up is not to be trusted. Vi also was chosen by two powerful beings to show how truly magnificent she really could be with time. The cliffhanger though… amazing!!!!

So much time has been put into this Book that it makes you just soar in excitement reading it or even listening! Omg the audible is amazing!!! I can’t wait to hear the theatrical version. I highly recommend. Not suitable for you her readers under 16.

cliffhanger?

Loved the story line just wondering if the ending was meant for a cliffhanger for book 2 or was it a stand alone? This book kept me involved loved the characters and how it played out. Who doesn't love a Supernatural HEA. Its a little different from the ones I usually read. I have yet to read about pups from a previous mate and how the new mate comes in the way she did. IT was lovely to see a mother not a wicked step mother type story.

Amazing

This book was a life changing experience for me. Definitely made me think more about my life fulfillment goals etc. but the finding ones self the build up to its finale was amazing. Characters were great I just feel like the cousin should of had more influence in this story like kicking someone’s ass at the end or more of an ending how it turned out for everyone but that’s not important just side thoughts. The HEA was pleasing I’m so glad it ended the way it did. Thank you to the narrators who made this book come alive! this book hit it off from the start there was no dragging slow burn with spicy scenes etc. it was all through the book. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND FOR A YOUNGER AUDIENCE! 21+ at the lowest. The one thing that tore me up about this book was so much of it was relatable but it definitely reassured that everyone deserves love ❤️

Great short story

Great narrator. Was able to tell the difference between characters as well as the flow of the book. No pauses at all. Suspenseful can’t wait for more.

Love it!!!

This book is now in my top three books of all time. I highly recommend this book. This book had me smiling through almost the entire storyline. My husband even asked what I was reading because I was shy away like a schoolgirl. This book was so well written. It’s amazing it is a must read and listen. the narration of this book for Lincoln is amazing, Both narrators were so good at this book it made me feel like I was watching a movie instead of just listening. So many spicy scenes five star all the way around warning there are trigger points towards the end of the book but they’re very subtle.

I have no words! This book was funny up until the pending end and now we are off to book 2. Insane…a must read/listen

Definitely something I did not expect. Twisted to be honest. But It does happen in real life too just sucks that the ending happened the way it did. But it’s for the best.

Decent

This is a great book for more suspense love stories with some danger. Not typically what I am interested in but a decent read. I finished it even though it took me 4 books later to finish this is why I gave it a 4 star not because of anything poorly about the way the book was written or it’s narration etc. Definitely go with an audible if you can. I loved the narrators, they really brought the story to life.

Great for first time love romance readers. Light spice.
Well written
Couldn’t put down the book as there was no over detailing things.
I purchased the audible instead of the book. The narration was done very professionally. No gaps of clips or clicking sounds which kept each character separated so it was an easy listen.
100% recommend

Audible vs book

Audible: narrator female didn’t mesh well with the character as a teenager. I thought it was difficult to figure out who was saying what. She was well spoken but I do not feel shammen was meant for all parts maybe Kate and Vicky. Joe was excellent thank you!

Story line was spot on. I’ve read other reviews and I don’t think they listened to everything. I didn’t read there was cheating but a lot of miscommunication. Teenage love Is all about miscommunication. Adult feelings are even more complicated and there was so much of that throughout this book. I loved how the author depicted on how the reservation and state police treats cases of indigenous children “run aways” cases because they avoid paperwork or work in general or they just don’t have the resources. Every child deserves to be treated like no matter how long they have been gone they are priority. I felt it in this book. I didn’t like the non apologetic Jax but most dominant men do not use words to apologize they show more action than words.

Reading the book: if you read the book vs listening this book is magnificent but I still include my personal opinions. I don’t think the author did anything wrong with this book. Well done

Trigger warning of Domestic Abuse, kidnapping & child abuse and continued emotional childhood trauma through the story.
Well written when you have an open mind to situations
Detailed enough to not be confused
Spicy love scenes
even came with a happy ending.
