Historia
Skeeve is a magician’s apprentice (and a wanna-be thief) until an assassin’s bolt kills his master, Garkin. Along with Aahz, the green-scaled, purple-tongued demon and master magician summoned by Garkin, he sets out on a quest to get even. The road to vengeance is bound to prove rocky, however, because Skeeve can barely light a candle with his beginning magic, and Aahz has lost his own considerable magical abilities as a consequence of Garkin’s summoning spell.

I fell in love with this series back when I was in my teens when my mom introduced them to me. I am extremely pleased to find them here.

Following the devastating attack on Yaresh, its people are left to pick up the pieces. The city lies in ruins, but its decimated defenders have more to deal with than just reconstruction. Jason's actions during the battle have brought unwelcome attention from allies and enemies alike. While the adventurers question his loyalty, the messengers question his very nature. Both have designs on Jason that he intends to thwart, but a danger comes to light that shifts everyone's agenda.

Fantastical per usual
Revisado: 05-18-24
This book is just another superb example of Mr. Travis's superior lit rpg writing abilities. I absolutely cannot wait for book 11 and I am grateful that at this point the waiting time between books is so reasonable. To be completely honest, my only concern is that this story is so complex and intricate, that I fear ending the series smoothly is going to be a challenge. This isn't some kind of criticism. this adventure has been unforgettable and amazing, but from experience, litRpg writers sometimes struggle with having a clean ending. Perhaps Mr. Travis will write this series for another 20yrs, but I don't want to get my hopes up, haha. Also, they better save Gary.

Story Great
Revisado: 12-18-22
this book was amazing. I love that the hero is relatable to introverts. Heroes in most books are clever and funny, confident to the point of arrogance. I also love the "newish" idea of magic in this universe. it's unlike any other fantasy/lit rpg I've read so far. it blends multiple ways magic is described in others to make its own flare. however, if you're reading this Tobias, I strongly advise against using this narrator again. she made an enthralling story very hard to get through. she just sounded bored through the whole book. she managed to use SOME minor inflections during exciting or action parts, but GEEZ. All in all a good book though.

there are some good questions answered in this book as well as new compelling mysteries. I can't wait to see the next steps in the next book. will Sarah get the elixir, will Corin defeat or defy his father? will Corin kiss Jin or Cecilia? SO GOOD

really fun.
Revisado: 10-19-22
not sure why there are so many people giving this book bad reviews. Sure Eric could have made it longer, like puting this book and the next book into one, but I thought it was good and there were some places I literally laughed out loud. it's absolutely just as good as the rest of the books in this series. I can see that the story doesn't progress TONS but it's a fun adventure even still.

Historia
A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

I absolutely love this book. this is probably the third or fourth time I've heard it, and it won't be the last. I genuinely enjoy the series and if you like playing roll playing games and you enjoy lit Rpg genres, you will love this. and quite honestly even if you don't usually play roll playing games you'll still probably like this book. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone 18 plus
