Historia
In the aftermath of the 2020 presidential election, Donald Trump and many around him, including certain other elected Republican officials, intentionally breached their oath to the Constitution: they ignored the rulings of dozens of courts, plotted to overturn a lawful election, and provoked a violent attack on our Capitol.

Liz Cheney is a courageous woman. I have the utmost respect for her. Her courage to do the right thing cost her the job she loved.

Historia
In the early hours of July 10, 2016, gunshots rang out and a young man lay fatally wounded on a quiet Washington, DC, street. But who killed Seth Rich? When he was buried in his hometown, his rabbi declared: “There are no answers for a young man gunned down in the prime of his life.” The rabbi was wrong. There were in fact many answers, way too many. In the absence of an arrest, a howling mob filled the void. Wild speculation and fantastical theories surfaced on social media and gained traction thanks to a high-level cast of provocateurs.

What a relief
Revisado: 10-26-22
This book gave me a sense of relief that someone, in this case Andy Kroll, finally researched where the crazy conspiracy theories originated and confirmed through his dedicated research the conspiracies were not based in fact.
His compassion and respect for the victims, the Rich family, is obvious by the amount of research he conducted while at the same time using the original factual resources.
This is not a book of opinion. It is a book of facts.
Facts are objective
Opinions are Subjective
Andy Kroll did not share his opinion of the facts. He reported only the facts. Bravo! 👏
The narrator, Greg Barnett, is very good. His voice is clear, concise, easy to follow with the right amount of inflection in his voice.

Historia
When Charlie Blair left Chicago behind—and her old life as Lauren Claybourne—for a gig in the Santa Cruz DA's office, things were supposed to be easier. Or at least nothing that a couple of Xanax and a tumbler of vodka couldn't handle. The plan had been working, until the murder of a local bail bondsman Shelly Hansen. Enter: hotshot prosecutor Erika Lorman, she of the stellar record and unfailing touch with juries, a veritable legend in her own right.

More Please!
Revisado: 10-13-22
I love this book. It is easy to follow each character. The main story is fascinating, mysterious and entertaining. Some of it did not play out as I expected which made the book even better.
In addition to the main story 2 of the characters have their own personal story. The details in the personal story helps to define each character.
I did not get lost as to whom speaking. I listen to books through a headset when I clean the house. I became so engrossed in the book I extended my cleaning time just to listen to it. It is that good.

Historia
When Terry Rourke is invited to the spare-no-expense beach wedding of his hedge fund manager brother, he thinks that his biggest worry will be flubbing the champagne toast. But this isn’t the first time Terry has been to the Hamptons. As the designer tuxedos are laid out and the flowers arranged along the glittering surf, Terry can’t help but take another look at a decades-old murder trial that rocked the very foundations of the town—and his family.

Revisado: 06-26-22
I tried to get into this book, but just couldn't....The beginning is heavy with unnecessary and pointless babble. Poorly written. The narrator tried, which I assume is his best. There is very little distinction between who is saying what.... I got half way through the book and gave up. I wasted my time and a credit on this one.
