In hundreds of easy-to-make recipes, you will find out how to make foolproof Hollandaise sauce in just two minutes, how to transform one simple tomato sauce into a half dozen dishes, how to make the crispiest, creamiest potato casserole ever conceived, and much more.

Historia
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

Completely fixed on Edith! Couldn’t imagine how it would end. Then it did and it was perfect - just like it should have. Often uncomfortable but, somehow, always readable and intriguing.

Not Bess at her Best
Revisado: 04-29-23
Love this series and the history the author managed to include with the stories. This one, however, was too dark, convoluted and unbelievable. Looking forward to the next one - hoping for a more great adventures of the “Great War” with Bess and Simon.

Historia
Daisy is a girl coming of age in LA in the late '60s, sneaking into clubs on the Sunset Strip, sleeping with rock stars, and dreaming of singing at the Whisky a Go Go. The sex and drugs are thrilling, but it’s the rock and roll she loves most. By the time she’s 20, her voice is getting noticed, and she has the kind of heedless beauty that makes people do crazy things. Also getting noticed is The Six, a band led by the brooding Billy Dunne.

Getting close to the end!
Revisado: 10-18-22
I have loved every book in this series. Dreading getting close to the last one. I am attached to each of the folk who people these stories, addicted to the police procedural storylines and thrilled to have Tom Taylorson back in the all important reader position. Loved every book - sadly only two to go - but this story captured me - my favorite!!! Will be waiting for Mr Māyor to continue the adventures of Joe, Sam, Willie and friends. And can’t wait to see the adventures Rachel Reeling explores. We need MORE!’
