Half a century after the Doomsday Battle, the uneasy balance of Dark Forest Deterrence keeps the Trisolaran invaders at bay. Earth enjoys unprecedented prosperity due to the infusion of Trisolaran knowledge. Best in series
Revisado: 12-15-16
In my opinion, this is probably the best in the series. Very engaging. Grander scale, but more focused cast.

Historia
Where Flynne and her brother, Burton, live, jobs outside the drug business are rare. Fortunately, Burton has his veteran's benefits, for neural damage he suffered from implants during his time in the USMC's elite Haptic Recon force. Then one night Burton has to go out, but there's a job he's supposed to do - a job Flynne didn't know he had. Beta-testing part of a new game, he tells her.

Interesting story
Revisado: 07-18-15
More character discovery than development. No one really changes during the story. The plot it self is an interesting exploration of an idea more than anything else. There is no big reveal, but also no anxiety inducing build up. The characters are just along for the ride, the same way you or I would be. I suppose that is why I liked them. I'm rating it so highly because I thoroughly enjoyed the different style of storytelling.

One of if not the best in the series
Revisado: 06-02-15
I'm always kind of, "meh.", when it comes to standalone prequels but this one is a gem. I missed curry at first, but the curry narration is kind of grainy in comparison. Mr Malcolm grows on you quick. At times the sound normalization is annoying. I found I often had to maxout the volume to hear what was going on.
The story is my fav in the series so far. It's short but dense. It might be taking advantage of the other three novels' well established settings, but that's fine with me. I would not suggest starting with this book, but I think you likely could manage.

Experience Othello as a powerful full-cast drama with entertaining and enlightening commentary that explains what's what and who's who as the plot unfolds. To help you get the most out of Shakespeare, the narrator offers historical insights and background information, so you can enjoy the jokes, appreciate the references, and get a real sense of Shakespeare's world.

Excellent Listen

I come from a computer science background. I have only recently begun to take an interest in literature. The historical context, definitions, and introductions are amazing. The commentary during dialog is extremely helpful in comprehension. Often times we glaze over certain dialog and don't really appreciate what was said. The commentary seems to anticipate these moments and brings us back into an analytical focus. After finishing the audio book I was very confident in my knowledge f the piece and could hold my own in a discussion with any literature student!
