Not A Good Translation For Audio Book

As my title states, its a poor choice for an audio version due to no way to determine where the Scripture ends and the amplification begins unless of course you are following along with a Bible. Steven B. Stevens does an outstanding performance as he does also in the NASB too. I don't know how this could work better. Maybe say "amplification" when the Scripture ends.

So our Church is currently studying Galatians. Thought I'd get a headstart on next week's study in chapter 6, and it's not in the NASB, it's KJV. Contacted Lockman Foundation hopefully they will get with Made for Success and get this resolved. Not sure if there are any other areas with this issue, I stumbled upon it by chance.
*Update* Colossians Chapter 1 is also in the KJV. I'm positive there are more. Lockman Foundation returned my call and said they are aware of the issues.

The book itself is wonderful. The narrator was not for me. I've listened to other performances of his and have enjoyed them. So maybe he wasn't feeling this book either. I would like someone like Grover Gardner gets a chance to do this over.

I have several of these performances in other books of the Bible. This section IS NOT THE NKJV. I do not know what it is. It is not the KJV,ESV,NIV, NASB ,or any other familiar translations. It is not even the same people performing. Make sure you listen to sample with your NKJV before buying. I didn't.

What books written over 300 years from now will be read, much less listened to?! I was blessed from beginning to end. This great man of God knew true repentance. Highly recommended to those who are honestly looking to repent. Others, looking for a watered down don't offend me book better take cover. To God be the glory.

Loved it. So many nuggets I never knew about my hometown. The Wright brothers were a great family and people. I actually enjoyed McCullough reading this. It had a nice grandfather feel to it. I could close my eyes and feel like I was back in time right there with the brothers. Well done.

If you are looking for a feel good, don't condemned me and make heaven some easy and universal mush and gush, you better go elsewhere. However, if you want sound biblical truth listen to this book.

As great as this book is, he to me is a hypocrite. He preached and instructed all this doctrine and judged people for the littlest offense, yet he turned towards pagan mysticism towards the end of his life. In my opinion he lost all credibility. I don't know how he could have expected to be told by the LORD, "Well done good and faithful servant." ( Matthew 25:23.) I'm not judging him, just confused as how such a man who was so godly could do such a turn about.

I really enjoyed it. Didn't agree with all of the Christian sacrifices he employed, yet the intention was definitely moving. I found it a little slow and dry in some chapters, but the powerful themes throughout always shined through and the slow areas didn't last to long. A+
