Jack is back. This book returns to the roots that made Reacher books outstanding. Jack returns with the attitude that carved out his place in the bookstore. I don't care how it's done as long as the bad guy pays the price and Jack gets to help those who can not help themselves.

As always a good book for vacation. Light reading with plenty of Stone Barrington action. By action, I mean good sex.

Great first book in a series.

I enjoyed the story. The narrator grew on me after a while. I think the character development was good leaving me wanting more from this set.

The story was good. This is the first book in the series I have read. I got the book because I like Scott Brick's work. I am now going to read more in the series.

Kick a** and take names later is back!

I look forward to every Reacher book. This book delivered in the way Reacher does things best, clear and decisive. This book had me all the way to the end, which I thought was a little weak. I wanted Reacher to make heads roll. Dick Hill once again delivers a great performance.

DeMille is outstanding

When Nelson Demille writes a story, he takes the time to develop his characters so so very well. His quick wit and snappy one liners have always interested me. Scott Brick blows life into what seems like real people and has always done a great job with Nelson's books. I am not sure why I had not ever read this book before nor seen the movie. Perhaps now I will seek out the movie?

another great Doc Ford book

Doc Ford is just good stuff to listen too. Marian seems to be developing a very interesting new friend that will provide Randy some new material to explore.
I had the chance to go to a book signing and hear Randy talk, he is well worth the time.

Not just your standard John Grisham book

I have read all of Grisham’s stuff. I tend to like his non-lawyer stuff and the “Racketeer” once again delivers. After a slow start the book became a non-stop read for me. As always, the characters are well developed. John, you keep writing and I will keep reading. Inmates seem to have way to much time on their hand to be able to think up things like this.
