I liked that it was a slow progression of the MC’s levels, but a faster progression of his skills with hard work. The supporting characters are likable and it’s easy to distinguish between characters due to great voice acting.

Took a LBGT turn ugh

I hated the male on male parts. I find it boring and I just can’t relate. I picture most all of the books and characters in my mind, but I can’t picture the male on male romance, it ruined the series.

LGBT romance

Too much cringe romance between the MC and another female character was distracting. Good premise otherwise, but drawn out action.

Too much cringe - I’m out!

I kept waiting for the sx scene between Kat and Whip. I’m glad it didn’t go there. They are too much like sisters (big sister and little sister) to have that kind of relationship. I kept stressing about it every time they were building it up. I know that the new character was brought in just to instigate this whole relationship,, and I can’t stand her. It was distracting and took away from the story. I love the narration and the story up to now, but I feel like the track the main characters are taking will just progress, so I will end the series with this book.

Clyde from the Bad Guys series

I’m glad I read the other series first. Clyde is the MC and is a great character! His involvement made a lot of sense since I know Clyde very well from the Bad guys series.
Montana had a cameo in that series, and there was a lot of Clyde in this book. Bringing the two MCs together made for some great storytelling and brought back some memories of Clyde’s adventures (which were amazing). I wonder if the grim guys will appear in the next book?

Jeff Hays is amazing

Definitely different. Book one was a little bit of a hard start for me, but I started to enjoy the series more and more as it progressed. The world from an ant’s viewpoint is what makes the series different. There is a quite a bit of comedy with the interaction between Anthony and his pets, and later as the ants gain sentience.

I kept getting anxious every time there was a flirting scene with O. I really hope it doesn’t go there. I find it cringy and doesn’t add anything to the story, but in this book it kept happening .

Great writing and voice acting

I love the story, it’s have litRPG half action thriller. Corporations rule the world and the elites managers on up. Most people are in debt to the companies from birth and can never make enough money to pay it back.

Grim guys good guys bad guys

I’m loving this universe that started with the good guy series!
Now there are two more people pulled into this new magical world and I’m looking forward to more from this series and the others.
