Historia
Written by Naoki Higashida, a very smart, very self-aware, and very charming thirteen-year-old boy with autism, The Reason I Jumpis a one-of-a-kind memoir that demonstrates how an autistic mind thinks, feels, perceives, and responds in ways few of us can imagine. Parents and family members who never thought they could get inside the head of their autistic loved one at last have a way to break through to the curious, subtle, and complex life within.

Thank you Naoki for allowing me to understand a lot more about Autism. You are writing so brave and beautifully, as a mother to a kid on the spectrum this book is so helpful.
I will listen to it again to be reminded of all the nuances you’ve touched so delicately.
I have listened to your first book, and loved it just as much!
Thank you for inviting me to your journey.

Historia
Imagine living with a fear so visceral each day that simply walking down the street draws terror to one’s core. That’s the best case scenario for a woman on the streets of Juárez, Mexico. Kate del Castillo (La Reina del Sur) delivers a stunning one-woman performance that transports listeners from a New York stage to the treacherous streets of Juárez, Mexico, where thousands of women have been murdered in an ongoing epidemic of violence.

Great performance.
Sad achy facts.
It takes a lot of courage to stand up for what you believe in, for what is right, to fight evil.

Historia
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.

Historia
Temple Grandin teaches listeners the science of the autistic brain, and with it the history and sociology of autism. By being autistic--by being able to look from the inside out and from the outside in--the author's insights are not just unique, they're groundbreaking. According to Temple, our understanding of autism has been perhaps fundamentally wrong for the past 70 years.

Historia
No one is without fear. The way we experience fear is the difference between leading a life of purpose and joy or a life of disappointment and stagnation. We do not need to learn to live with fear or find ways to cope with it, but, instead, to live fearlessly and to our highest aspirations. We have the ability to eliminate fear from our reality. Thought provoking and inspiring for women and men alike, Fear Is Not an Option is both a story of personal triumph and a hand book for transformation.

What a great book and journey!!
Revisado: 11-27-17
A great book that describes Monica’s (the writer) journey to conquering fear. In a very open heart, and definitely open minded, Monica let you in to her world, some times painful experiences but mostly to her courageous and brave attitude towards her fears.
So much to learn from! I was inspired by every word. Going through hardships of my own I’ve promised my self to adopt and practice her methods.
I’ve bought the book and send them to my step daughters, also read her messages for her daughters to my 7 year old daughter - it is never too early to teach a young girl that Fear Is Not An Option!
