Historia
New paramedic Dean Flynn is fresh out of the academy. When he gets assigned to the unknown backwater ambulance Station U, he wonders what he did wrong. Then Dean learns that his patients aren't your normal 911 callers. Dean and his partner Brynne Garvey serve the creatures of myth and legend living alongside their normal human neighbors in Elk City. With patients that are vampires, werewolves, fairies and more, will Dean survive his first days on the new job? Will his patients? Not all is well on the streets of Elk City, and some humans are striking out at their mythical neighbors.

an EMT tried to write a book, and failed.
Revisado: 11-26-18
The story idea is a good one but the writing is stuffed with to much medical detail and pointless minutia.

Historia
In the far future among the colonized worlds of the galaxy, there's a war going on between the majority of civilized worlds and a colonial theocracy. Trystin Desoll grows up fighting against religious fanatics and becomes a hero, a first-class pilot, then, amazingly, a spy. What do you do if you're a relatively humane soldier fighting millions of suicidal volunteers on the other side who know that they are utterly right, and you are utterly wrong, with no middle ground? Trystin Desoll has an idea.

Long build-up that goes flat at the end.
Revisado: 08-13-18
The author spends 95% of the book with a slow long build-up, then its over.
The end seems like it was squeezed out at the last minute, and is not really plausible.
The whole book is a case study; in a false equivalency between religious fanatics and rational people.

Historia
Anomaly examines the prospect of an alien intelligence discovering life on Earth. The technological gulf between humanity and the alien species is measured in terms of millions of years. The only way to communicate is using science, but not everyone is so patient. Humanity's first contact with an alien intelligence is far more radical than anyone has ever dared imagine. With a technological gap of millions of years, mankind is barely able to recognize the arrival of an alien space craft outside the gates of the United Nations in New York.

written for kids ?
Revisado: 06-24-18
I only made it about 1/5 through the book.
If this was written for kids the its OK, if its for adults then forget about it.
The storyline and characters are sophomoric stereotypes, it reads like a sitcom.

Historia
The Olmec people are widely recognized as the first major civilization of Mexico and are thus generally regarded as the mother civilization of Mesoamerica, making them the people from which all subsequent Mesoamerican cultures derived. By and large, the Olmec culture is perhaps best identifiable by their so-called colossal heads, mammoth basalt head-statues wearing helmet-like headdresses found throughout Olmec habitation sites.

Atlantis and the Maya, really ?
Revisado: 06-15-18
The writer isn't knowledgeable on the subject.
The narration is awful, the speaker butchers the Native American words as well as English.

disappointed
Revisado: 06-11-18
More than half the recording is additional material, that is stumping for charity.
Audible should make this clear in its presentation of the book.
