Historia
Dylan Tang wants to win a Mid-Autumn Festival mooncake-making competition for teen chefs—in memory of his mom, and to bring much-needed publicity to his aunt’s struggling Chinese takeout in Brooklyn. Enter Theo Somers: charming, wealthy, with a smile that makes Dylan’s stomach do backflips. AKA a distraction. Their worlds are sun-and-moon apart, but Theo keeps showing up. He even convinces Dylan to be his fake date at a family wedding in the Hamptons.

Jay Bell Does it Again
Revisado: 02-27-23
This author writes characters with depth and complexity, so amazingly well. His dialogue is spot on, his emotions are authentic, and his storylines relatable. I can’t wait for the next one!

I know how crazy this will sound, but after a freak accident, I woke up in the 1950s...and met a really special guy. His name is Daniel Parker. He's adorable, sweet, hot, and everything else I've been searching for. There might be a way to return to my own time, but I'm not sure I can leave him.

Jay Bell Never Disappoints
Revisado: 03-20-22
Great book, great story, great performance, great author. None of this is surprising from a Jay Bell novel. His characters are real and human and lovable. I’m always sad when I don’t have any more pages to read.

Historia
After having his heart trampled on by his cheating ex, Carter Ogden is afraid love just isn’t in the cards for him. He still holds out hope in a tiny corner of his heart, but even in his wildest dreams he never thought he’d meet the Crown Prince of England, much less do a lot more with him. Yes, growing up he’d fantasized about the handsome, openly gay Prince Edgar, but who hadn’t? When they meet by chance at an event Carter’s boss is organizing, Carter’s sure he imagined all that sizzling chemistry. Or was it mutual?

So great!
Revisado: 07-27-21
I don’t understand what some of the bad reviews are about. This book was incredibly fun and very well written. Also, comparisons to other royal tales aren’t fair. This came out much earlier. And, the premise, the characters, the writing style are all very good time. Just enjoy the story and have some fun and imagination. I would listen to it again. Such a great book!

Historia
You are a failed novelist about to turn 50. A wedding invitation arrives in the mail: Your boyfriend of the past nine years is engaged to someone else. You can't say yes - it would be too awkward - and you can't say no - it would look like defeat. On your desk are a series of invitations to half-baked literary events around the world. Question: How do you arrange to skip town? Answer: You accept them all.

A Missing Voice for Middle Aged Gay Men
Revisado: 08-04-19
The writing was superb; pros and verbal imagery. The performance was flawless. The story was compelling.
As a gay man in in his very early 40s, this book resonated profoundly with me. The story of aging, and relationships, following the lost generation of gay men who preceded us is often not told. Many of us are left to discover those processes anew. This book has filled a gap in that narrative, and is a much-needed reminder that, while different, our experiences as humans are, perhaps, not as significantly unique as we may each sometimes believe.

Historia
When his mother became President, Alex Claremont-Diaz was promptly cast as the American equivalent of a young royal. Handsome, charismatic, genius—his image is pure millennial-marketing gold for the White House. There's only one problem: Alex has a beef with the actual prince, Henry, across the pond. And when the tabloids get hold of a photo involving an Alex-Henry altercation, U.S./British relations take a turn for the worse.
