Not very memorable
Revisado: 11-12-23
I love Japan and great courses so I was excited to find this book. Perhaps I listened at a bad time and I was busy with other things, but I did not find this review very memorable. It is short enough I'll consider a 2nd listen.

Not what I thought it'd be
Revisado: 11-12-23
it's an ok listen/read. I thought it would have prepared me more for being antiracist or things to do for raising anti-racist children. in my opinion did not live up to the hype. Better sources out there than this book.

Not sure if it is due to the material or just a personal lack of interest. But I can barely remember listening to this book. Ha, dare I listen to it again?

Interesting to hear the history and story behind shoes that I have been wearing for so long. Only qualm is it would have been nice to hear even more of how they go to present day. It sort of just stops in the early days.

Overall a good book. Interesting to hear about life in South Africa at that time. I would have enjoyed hearing more about how he broke in to the American TV/comedy scene. Recommend even if you're a slight fan of Trevor Noah.
