English gentry would never say aint
Revisado: 05-18-20
The English gentry in this book spoke more like low class American hicks. I cannot imagine a high-class British family using words like ain’t and improperly using the word don’t. I simply could not get past that. It made me cringe every time the Mallory family spoke.

Tough one to get through
Revisado: 06-07-13
Would you try another book from Christine Warren and/or Kate Reading?
No, I don't think so.
What could Christine Warren have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Have a stronger female character. She lacked self esteem and was always thinking that she wasn't good enough. I read stories to get away from that sort of thing.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Absolutely. I couldn't get past her lisp and she made the heroine sound less appealing than the author intended.
What character would you cut from Big Bad Wolf?
They all seemed pretty essential.
Any additional comments?
When the author explains about the mate hunt, she specifically mentions that if a couple are mated, they only hunt for each other because wolves mate for life. Then, in the next scene, she has the villain hunting for another man's mate, even though the villain has a mate of his own and a child. What's up with that? Where was this villain's mate and why would she ever allow him to go after another female?

What was one of the most memorable moments of Feral Sins?
The moment when Trey told Terryn that he loved her.
Have you listened to any of Jill Redfield’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, this was the first. I think she did an excellent job.

A feel-good novel that is worth the read
Revisado: 03-27-13
Where does Savor the Danger rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It's in my top 20.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Arizona. I liked her fire—not so much her mouth.
Which scene was your favorite?
The part where they found the cat.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I think it would have been better without all the foul language. Other than that, I was mostly touched when the author told the story of Arizona.
Any additional comments?
This was a good book, with interesting characters, but too much ugly language for my taste. The sex scenes were good and I mostly enjoyed how Jackson took control of the situations. I liked Alani's softness and found her innocence charming.

Historia
His memory is blank. He only knows that he was flushed out of the Mediterranean Sea, his body riddled with bullets. There are a few clues. A frame of microfilm surgically implanted beneath the flesh of his hip. Evidence that plastic surgery has altered his face. Strange things that he says in his delirium -- maybe code words. Initials: "J.B." And a number on the film negative that leads to a Swiss bank account, a fortune of four million dollars, and, at last, a name: Jason Bourne.

Great espionage story that keeps you riveted
Revisado: 03-26-13
Would you consider the audio edition of The Bourne Identity to be better than the print version?
Yes, mainly because I'm blind and cannot read the printed version
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
At times, yes, at others, the scenes seem to drone on, but the information was pivotal to the plot.
What does Scott Brick bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He brought the characters to life. Each one had their own unique voice.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No way. It's far too long for that and required too much concentration.
Any additional comments?
I'm eager to start the next book in the series. I was surprised to discover just how different this book was from the movie version. They were like two different stories all together. I enjoyed the book version more—go figure.
