Listening to this in 2022 made me shiver, as if Hillary won, It would have most likely been a documentary. the end is awesome, and I agree with almost every amendment to the constitution.

Fun listen, good humor, interesting story

Ok, I thought the book was great, but did the author get permission from Craig Alanson to use just about all of the same props as the expeditionary force series? I mean a funny AI? may as well have called it Skippy.

Then Jason Anspach and Nick Cole from the Galaxies Edge series should get a mention for stealing the use of OTF! own the field? direct ripoff of KTF, kill them first.

I actually enjoyed the similarities to some of my favorite stories, but please, get some original material, or at least credit the authors you are stealing ideas from.

Awe inspiring story and narration

I am so glad I found this series. It has brought me many hours of great listening, and a pleasent escape from reality.
The story is top notch, keeps you on your toes and thinking, while providing a roller coaster ride of emotions and experiences with each deep detailed character. Tears and Smiles, Pain and Pleasure, Thought provoking detail of each human experience.
Just very well done all around. I will remember this one for quite a while. Thank you for the experience Jason, Nick, Stephen and Audible.

I listened to this after the series. It wraps it up together nicely. Great narration, with lots of feeling and emotion for the story.

Nice side story of John Ringos end times

This book made a nice side story to the series, but where is Ringo? I was expecting these new characters to meet up with the other characters in the series, but that never happened. Dissapointing. it would have been cool if a sub rose up with their friends in it.
I missed Ringo's snarky humor.

Scary close to current events in the USA.

Great story, some excellent prepping tips. The story is almost parallel to the current events happening now. The antagonists are also close to real characters. I actually appreciate the biblical references throughout the story.

My only gripe is with the encounters between the Federal and Coalition forces, as there is no use of air power during conflict, which is silly. That being said, I could see this happening in real life any day now.

One of the most fun SF series ever written

I feel sad every time I finish a book in this series. BV Larson's imagination, combined with Mark Boyett's awesome narration skills are a dynamic combination of fun and excitement.

Every world has a unique flavor, and every character is so real you can picture them in your minds eye. Mark's voice skills are amazing. He and RC Bray are my two favorites.

Start at book one, and you will be hooked.

I dont give out 5 stars easy, so thats why its 4 stars overall. The story is great, and very true to life under a marxist socialist leaning administration like Obama and Biden.

Fun, Funny, and a cool story too.

I have listened to other Travis S Taylor books, and always enjoy reading science fiction from a real honest to God scientist.
The references and nods to Heinlein in this book are also fun. I share the authors reverence with Heinlein. This was a fast paced roller coaster of science, fiction, possibilities, and good old American values.

Looking forward to the next one!
