I watched the movie version of this year's ago. Recently I had a 14 hour drive and wanted a good book for the dive. This book was better than I thought it would be. The narrator nailed it! Excellent performance.

Can't Hurt Me was phenomenal. I wasn't sure Goggins was going to be able to write something better than that, but he did. There are so many things to take away from this book. All I can say is read this book. It might be the catalyst needed to change your life.

I'll admit I was a bit skeptical about speed reading in general and definitely about learning to speed read so quickly. I bought this book and increased my reading speed right away. I started out reading 228 wpm and after eight days using the suggested methods am now reading at 775 wpm! Some of the suggestions may seem a bit odd, like counting "1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3..." to get rid of subvocalization but it works. The crazy part is because of the level of focus required I retain more of the information at 775 wpm than I did at 228 wpm. Buy this book if you really want to increase your reading speed!
