Historia
I am a dark spirit, the ghost announced grandly. I am your inheritance, your grandmother's legacy. I am yours to command. Suraya is delighted when her witch grandmother gifts her a pelesit. She names her ghostly companion Pink, and the two quickly become inseparable. But Suraya doesn't know that pelesits have a dark side - and when Pink's shadows threaten to consume them both, they must find enough light to survive...before they are both lost to the darkness.

I read this book because someone compared it to Studio Ghibli and I fully agree. The magic and mystery in this story is similar to the feeling of movies like KiKi’s delivery service, only slightly darker. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Historia
Somewhere out beyond the edge of the universe there is a library that contains an infinite number of books, each one the story of another reality. One tells the story of your life as it is, along with another book for the other life you could have lived if you had made a different choice at any point in your life. While we all wonder how our lives might have been, what if you had the chance to go to the library and see for yourself? Would any of these other lives truly be better? In The Midnight Library, Nora Seed finds herself faced with this decision.

Amazing

This is the first book I’ve read in a while, I got an audible subscription to listen to books while at my new corporate job where I have a lot of down time. I have always loved reading but found it hard to find the time, even when I’m deeply interested. This book hit a deep note with me as I relate strongly to the main characters struggles. I found her story beautiful and inspiring. This has quickly become one of my favorite books of all time.
