I absolutely loved this book! Even if you read this book and take away a few of her ideas it is so worth it. She is such a refreshing and wholesome soul. I can’t wait to try to find a PDF that goes with this book because I will use it. Thank you Candace! God bless!

Very disappointed in Stephanie

So I started this book thinking I'd learn more about Melania. I knew it was gonna be bias towards Stephanie's view, after all, it is her story and her book. However, the more I read, the more I grew angry.
Here is a woman who claimed to be besties with Melania for 15 years! Towards the end she was bashing Melania for not being true to their friendship and standing up for her. However, that's exactly what she is doing in this book! She violated every "friendship code" in telling all the details she did. Sounds like Melania is a self absorbed person who doesn't live off of emotion. So. That's obviously the type of woman she is. Sounded to me as if she was so comfortable in her own skin that she didn't need validation from anyone to be herself. Not the case for Stephanie.
I heard nothing but a scorned woman, acting narcissistic, saying look at me, look at all I did, give me the attention I need. I got angrier and angrier as the story progressed.
I agree, she was wronged in some ways, but to write a book in this manner made me lose all respect and credibility towards her. Sorry Stephanie.....not buying it.
And if you were telling your story, why did you use Melania and Me as a title? You're in fact using her name to make more sales.

A MUST READ!

I finished this book with sadness.....not because I didn’t like the book, but because I feel like I’m saying goodbye to a great friend! Listening to Lauren and Thomas Rhett was the most humbling, down to earth, real, heartfelt book!!! Listening to them tell their story, and the way they told it, made me feel as if I was sitting in an Adirondack chair sharing a cup of coffee face to face! I LOVED this book. I just wish I didn’t have to end it. I’d love to hug this couple and tell them they’re so inspiring. As a mom of daughters their age, it made me realize how thankful I am to have raised my family in Christ. True blessings come from Him, and they are a living testament to that. God bless you both! (And your adorable daughters)

I originally got this book from audible because I wanted a short, quick read.
I was very interested in hearing Mishka’s journey. What an incredible story of how he overcame his addiction.
