As her marriage to Tamlin approaches, Feyre’s hollowness and nightmares consume her. Revisado: 07-23-24
The storyline was awesome! I grew up in Orange County and knew where most of the locales were that were in the book. The plot was captivating and I was in from the get-go…I couldn’t stop listening.

Historia
Sisters Sarah and Chloe inherit a house they could never have previously dreamed of owning. It seems too good to be true. Shortly after they move in, however, the siblings start to notice strange things: horrible smells, sudden drops in temperature, as well as unexplainable sounds and feelings of being watched.

Slave, marital and personal struggles during the birth of a new nation
Revisado: 02-17-19
What a life marked by so many struggles. The depth that Patsy wrought her decisions trying to encompass the betterment of all involved and always keeping her familial reputation unclouded.
This is a heart wrenching story and I applaud her and her father for their quiet fights to build a democratic nation.

Historia
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.

Southern prejudice
Revisado: 12-31-18
This book is an awesome example that not all prejudice in the south was against Blacks. There is so much prejudice for just being different, unique or a loner. Brilliant coming-of-age story with all of the beauty and life that surrounds our Southern marshlands!!
