Historia
For years, Emma Carey was a regular young adult who would wake up and go about their day on autopilot, someone who would look at a sunset and feel unaffected, someone who was living, but not really alive. That is, until something happened that enabled her to really see life for the gift it is. Emma was in a skydiving accident that made her a paraplegic. This book is not just about Emma's fall from the sky and how she learned to walk without ever regaining feeling in her legs but also about the beliefs and ideas that helped her survive.

I’ve loved every book I’ve read by William Kent Krueger. He is one of the BEST storytellers of our time! I highly recommend this Mystery Series. I’ve fallen in love with the Cork O’Conner character and his family. They feel like close , personal friends. I’ve also learned a great deal about Indian Tribal culture, language and history. David Childers, the narrator, is a perfect fit.

So much better than I thought it was going to be!
Revisado: 10-12-23
This is not a book I would normally choose, but the reviews were decent and I was in a hurry to find something. I’m not really sure what I expected . I thought it was going to be somewhat entertaining fluff…background noise to the tasks I had planned to tackle today. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Never judge a book by its cover! I absolutely loved it, listened to it non stop ! It was smart, suspenseful, extremely witty, poignant ,insightful and hopeful. I found myself pulled into the very original, creative storyline with main characters I felt like I knew personally. I feel like I found a sparkling little diamond in a sea of gemstones. I’m on the hunt for more from Brynn Kelly and a new member of her fan club.🩵⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Surprisingly BEAUTIFUL! Highly Recommend!
Revisado: 02-19-23
I love mystery novels and revere the ones that keep me guessing. I have read and listened to more than I can count. I have never been a fan of romance novels however this beautifully written love story / mystery novel by Joanna Davidson Politana not only surprised me but has
catapulted me in search for more like it.
The mystery was intriguing but it was the love story that drew me in and kept me a willing hostage until the very end. The narrator, Justine Eyre, brought it to life and I loved every written and spoken word. ❤️
