Historia
Trauma nurse Aly Cappellucci doesn’t need any more kinks. She likes the one she’s landed on just fine. To her, nothing could top the masked men she follows online. Unless one of those men was shirtless, heavily tattooed, and waiting for her in her bedroom. She dreams about being hunted by one in particular, of him chasing her down and doing deliciously dark things to her willing body. She never could have guessed that by sending one drunken text, those dreams would become her new reality.

Golden retriever stalker rom com
Revisado: 08-31-24
This was such a funny book - I had more laugh out loud moments than anything else. Jacob Morgan does such a great job as Josh and Andi Arndt as Aly. It does touch on some serious topics but it was not an issue for me. Do your due diligence if you have triggers as this book may not be for everyone. I won’t go into any details to not spoil the book, but I definitely recommend if you like funny, spicy 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️, morally grey, psycho, golden retriever, stalker rom coms - this one’s for you.

Since the Final War, I’ve been doing just fine. I have a lovely cave, a darling vegetable patch, forest views . . . and if loneliness sometimes squeezes my aching heart, well, my books have always kept me company. That is, until a pack of hunters chase me from my home and right into the arms of several rather large, rather brutish ex-Army Rangers. And those brutes have the nerve to make me the rudest offer I’ve ever heard. Their protection—for my body.

Hot damn, this was amazing
Revisado: 11-29-23
This was an unexpected delight. This author has spoiled me and I don’t know how I will recover.
This review will be short - but I have to say the author is talented and does an amazing job laying out this story.
It does end with a cliffhanger but the second book will be out in January.
Do yourself a favor and get this book. Totally worth a credit.

Historia
In Pamplona, capital of Navarra, Amaia Salazar is called in to investigate the death of a baby girl. The baby has red marks on her face, indicating she has been murdered. According to the girl's grandmother, the father tried to run away with the body, uttering something about an offering. She also mentions the Inguma - an evil being of Basque mythology that kills people in their sleep. The investigation takes Amaia and her team to the nearby valley of Baztan, where there have been an abnormally high number of similar cases - and some procedural irregularities.

Love it, but
Revisado: 10-29-17
Love the story, love the intensity, of the character. ..... But.......To me, Since the second and third book the magistrate became suspect immediately.....He was to obvious. to me what give away was the intensity the way he try to win her over. That was a disappointment.
The main character that was the inspector detective, is so intense, detail oriented, an excellent profiler. But what I fail to understand, how supposedly she fail to see him for what he really was....... her character was down play with the second and third book. She is strong, but at the same time weak. She profiles and analyzed, but failed to see him, it was obvious that something was really off with him...... Love a lot of things from the book, but this particular area of her books was a disappointment. There where other behavior , that didn't make sense neither..... too bad, this's could it been a lot better.

Best one yet
Revisado: 01-16-14
Would you listen to Blood Promise again? Why?
Yes, the narrator is much better than the first two and the storyline is more interesting than the previous ones. It's much darker and there is more of a storyline and background than the previous books - also the characters aren't annoying like they were in the other books.
Who was your favorite character and why?
To be honest I don't have a favorite character but I do like that all the characters seemed to have grown and matured in this book - maybe it's the change in narrator, but I definitely appreciate the characters more in this book.
Any additional comments?
I definitely recommend this book, if you felt like I did about the first three books and their narrators - annoyed and disappointed - this one will definitely make you happier. I still think I may pick up the books and read them, but this one is worth your credit!

Historia
Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, lives peacefully in Arizona, running an occult bookshop and shape-shifting in his spare time to hunt with his Irish wolfhound. His neighbors and customers think that this handsome, tattooed Irish dude is about twenty-one years old - when in actuality, he’s twenty-one centuries old. Not to mention: He draws his power from the earth, possesses a sharp wit, and wields an even sharper magical sword known as Fragarach, the Answerer. Unfortunately, a very angry Celtic god wants that sword, and he’s hounded Atticus for centuries....

Oberon - the horny Scooby Doo
Revisado: 01-16-14
Would you listen to Hounded again? Why?
No, not because it's not good but I felt pretty satisfied with the story once it was done.
What did you like best about this story?
Oberon for sure and the old Irish neighbor - they brought the comedy to this book and made me laugh.
Have you listened to any of Luke Daniels’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No I haven't, but his performance was good. He does a good job in changing voices and doesn't make the book sound monotonous, I would listen to more books by him.
Any additional comments?
This is a good book, I wouldn't say great - but I do plan on purchasing the second one because this series seems to have promise of being really good.

Meh the narrator
Revisado: 01-10-14
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I definitely think I would've enjoyed this book better if it was another narrator, but the story is still good - so yeah time well spent.
If you’ve listened to books by Richelle Mead before, how does this one compare?
The storyline is better, this is a young adult book, but the characters still seem very immature, it may be better to read this book rather than hear it.
What didn’t you like about Khristine Hvam’s performance?
I tried to like her but she's not that great. I think she kills this book,
Did Shadow Kiss inspire you to do anything?
Nope

Would you listen to Invincible again? Why?
Yes for sure, too many reasons, it's a great story line and you really will love all the characters. Their sarcasm is hilarious.
What did you like best about this story?
I can't really pick one thing out because I love it all so far - still hearing it.
Have you listened to any of Holter Graham’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, in the first installment of this series and I have to say he is really good. He does not disappoint.
Any additional comments?
Definitely recommend for adults, although for younger adults the book may have too much adult humor in it.

Why we think it’s a great listen: It’s easy to say that when it comes to sci-fi you either love it or you hate it. But with Ender’s Game, it seems to be you either love it or you love it.... The war with the Buggers has been raging for a hundred years, and the quest for the perfect general has been underway for almost as long. Wonderful book!
Revisado: 12-03-13
Would you listen to Ender's Game again? Why?
Yes I definitely would, the author creates such a interesting world and the narrators in this book are very good.
What other book might you compare Ender's Game to and why?
I can't really say I can think of any book that really compares to Ender's Game. It's so different from everything else I've read and listened too.
What about Stefan Rudnicki and Harlan Ellison ’s performance did you like?
They did a fantastic job, I feel like all books should have more than one narrator - but that's asking for too much lol.
Any additional comments?
It's definitely a great book, I recommend anyone to listen to.
