Historia
The Cadian Gate is broken, and the Imperium is riven in two. The might of the Traitor Legions, kept shackled for millennia behind walls of iron and sorcery, has been unleashed on a darkening galaxy. Among those seeking vengeance on the Corpse Emperor’s faltering realm are the Death Guard, once proud crusaders of the Legiones Astartes, now debased creatures of terror and contagion.

An amazing look at the Death Guard
Revisado: 06-28-24
I already loved the idea of the Death Guard, and I even have an army of them waiting to be painted, but this solidified my affection for this most gross of fictional factions. A great read for any Warhammer fan, especially if you boast the faded green of Mortarian's own.

The Emperor Protects! I knew I needed to listen to a Black Templars book, considering I am new to the hobby, but am currently putting the final touches on my first army, the Templars themselves. This book gave me some ideas of how to paint Helbrecht himself, whom I own but have not yet done more than primed, waiting for inspiration such as this.

A Journalistic Recounting of Sega's Glory Days
Revisado: 04-22-22
So just to make sure anyone going into this book knows, don't be expecting a entertainment-oriented story like you would get in a book like Console Wars. This is an in-depth, highly detailed account of the history of Sega. It is exhaustive, it is intellectual, and it is exceptionally interesting to hear everything that there is to know about this company's rise and fall during the period of time when it was producing home consoles. As a person who was born a little bit too late to fully appreciate the console wars of the late '80s and into the '90s, but who is still old enough to have had a Sega Genesis as his first console, it's great to have this level of insight into a company that I had so much appreciation for as a kid.

Humorous, surprising, and informative, Dr. Peterson tells us why skateboarding boys and girls must be left alone, what terrible fate awaits those who criticize too easily, and why you should always pet a cat when you meet one on the street.

A fantastic read
Revisado: 05-14-19
Peterson's methodical approach to explaining how to live each of these rules is as revealing of human nature as it is revealing to oneself of their own personal nature. Peterson's own reading is powerful and forceful, pounding home to points he most wants to emphasize and revealing a startling degree of emotion from a man who, from my limited observance via interviews, is normally a very stolid person regardless of the situation.

Historia
A young, naïve but ultimately courageous hedge knight, Ser Duncan the Tall towers above his rivals—in stature if not experience. Tagging along is his diminutive squire, a boy called Egg—whose true name is hidden from all he and Dunk encounter. Though more improbable heroes may not be found in all of Westeros, great destinies lay ahead for these two . . . as do powerful foes, royal intrigue, and outrageous exploits. Featuring more than 160 all-new illustrations by Gary Gianni, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a must-have collection that proves chivalry isn’t dead—yet.

A noticeably more enjoyable new chapter
Revisado: 03-05-17
I loved the Cycle of Arawn, but had some issues with the way Dante and Blays were so excessively flippant with one-another. This book captures the brilliance of the original series, with the straight-forward yet complex problems needing to be solved and the clever ways in which it is done. My only real issue would be the fetch quest-like way things unfolded in the latter part of the book, which sometimes had a rushed feeling, but the strong characters saw me through to the end. Bravo.
