Story is good with minor issues

The story is really good but the recording isn’t. There are random moments in the book where a sentence will repeat and you kinda wonder if you hit the rewind button by accident. There a just a couple of places where a sentence will end abruptly and the next chapter will start. I did send an email to audible and they thought it might be the download copy so I redownloaded it and the same starts and stops and skipped lines where there.
It’s a good book and the storyline is interesting but it does make me wonder who screwed up the editing. Oh well the narrator is good for the most part she just doesn’t maintain consistency on her voices for each character. The book is interesting and worth a listen if minor mistakes don’t bother you. Some folks are more sensitive to errors then others (me). I will get the rest of the series just so I can find out what is plaguing Harlot Bay.

It just keeps getting better.

I really enjoy this series. It reminds me of the awkward moments in my life when i was trying to be super woman. Young and trying to figure things out. Looking back those were good times. Especially learning to trust your own institutions.
The narrator is just perfect to me. Cant wait for the next book.

Broken Love is so good

The story pulled me in right till the very end. The ending was a big gosh dang cliffhanger that almost makes you have to hear the next book. The sex scenes are hot like fire. I must say this book makes 50 shades seem mild.

I don’t mind this type of extreme fantasy in a book but for some I am sure will. Just don’t rate it down because you knew what you are getting when you purchased it. There are more then enough comments talking about it.

Next book about church

I so want to know alot more about church. Who or what is he?

This one had me weeping in traffic and people where looking at me trying to figure out what’s wrong. Lol. You are so damaged if you got no emotions from this one. The sad part is it reflects the hearts of men so well. People are both hateful and loving but to teach a machine to do better then most humans. Should that day arrive it will be a very sad day indeed. Sadder still most of the technological things in this book are probably being developed or experiments are underway now.

Same story different titles.

I loved this series at one point but its kinda repetitive now. Gen cant figure anything out. Mess with my family and I'm coming for you. My knives - I'm gonna cut you. Family almost dies. Make a bunch of food. End the book with i killed that person now there's another worse in the next book.

Same formula rinsed and repeated. I love the reader she is amazing as always but. I really need some more character growth.

The Honeybee needs to be someplace near me

I love the sweetness of this book. There is not real suspense to these murder mysteries but I don't mind. The pace of the story makes me feel like I'm apart of the coven and they are telling me a story about something that happened before i got there.
The narrator is excellent her voice makes me wanna sit back and listen. Amy Rubinate is great for this role never change her for anyone else.

Good not Great

I just seems like there was some content missing. I wasn't disappointed in this book but I just felt it was lacking the same flow as her other stories. There was an undercurrent towards the ending that got me excited (finally the drama) but then I realized there was only 10 minutes left so nothing of import is going to happen. Guess it was just a set up to another book and now I feel let down a little. I enjoyed the insight into Ophelia's life. This is a good book and the narrator did an amazing job as always.

Joe Ledger your a detective so detect.

I love Joe Ledger books but this one is not really working for me. I just don't connect with this story. The pace is ok but for me there was just too much back and forth from past to present. I love Porter as the narrator he is the only Joe Ledger for me.

Maberry's books are always fantastic but this one made me feel like it was a set up for the novella Dark of Night which was a great crossover for a new series with all 3 of his characters. (Fingers crossed).

Still worth the listen and I still love my favorite character.

Really good story

Took me a little while to get in to this book, because of the constant changes in narrator. There was one i just could not stand in the beginning and he made me want to abandon this story several times. Im so glad I didn't the story is really great and you get to connect with each character and learn hidden depths in each.

Love Enchanted inc

I have been waiting for for a long time for the enchanted series to be published on audio. I enjoyed the story but the narrator could've been better doing voices. The over exaggeration of the country accent was over-the-top which is what brought the narrator's abilities down for me. Overall once you get used to the bad accents the book is really enjoyable. But my support is for for the product that the author published so i will still get the rest of the books. Just because i enjoy the books.
