Awesome story of the Hudson-Wilder clan

This is the almost last story of the Hudson-Wilder Clan. Fear, egos, and determination set in the western United States in the 1800's. We see two people struggle to find themselves taking a group of Women and Children back to Independence after deciding that the Oregon Trail is just too much. Peggy L. Henderson weaves this tail beautifully as Cody Roberts is equally phenomenal in his narration. This is the 4th book in the series but can be read as a standalone. Happy listening!

Loved the book and was grateful that it was made into an audio book. If you love WWII books, if you love romance novels...this is the series for you. Hopefully we can get the next two books on Audible!

This is the third book in the Wilderness Brides series. Before listening make sure that you start with Cora's Pride. All of Ms. Henderson's books are awesome to read. You truly feel like you are there...but when Cody Roberts narrates the book it completes the whole package! I can't wait to listen to the next book in the series....once it gets written!

This book was hard to put down when I read it but listening to Cody Roberts narrating Peggy L Henderson's books makes it impossible to stop listening. The story of Ethan and Anna continues after the book "Cora's Pride". Make sure you read or listen to that book first to understand the nuances of the stories. The imagery Peggy gives us in her stories makes the reader feel like you are on the trail. The Wilderness Brides series is a must read...umm, must listen.

I love listening to Peggy's books after I have read them because I catch the hidden back stories and catch what is a prelude to the next book. Cody's narration makes you feel like you are really in the story. A great read! Make sure you start with book one Yellowstone Heart Song before reading this story.

Amazing story, phenomenal narration!

Ms. Henderson weaves an awesome prequel to her series and Mr. Roberts brilliantly narrates the book! This is a must if you are a fan of time travel and historic romance. The characters normally come to life on paper but with Cody narrating you can feel the characters as they go through their journey.
