Historia
For as long as he can remember, Blake K. Healy has seen angels and demons. He sees them as clearly as he would see you if you were standing right in front of him. He sees angels dancing in worship services and whispering words of encouragement in people's ears. He also sees demons latching on to people and perpetuating addiction and bitterness in their hearts. The Veil chronicles how Blake matured in this gifting, while overcoming the fear and confusion of what he saw.

Incredible story that is mesmerizing. Blake's gift and story could easily be a motion picture that would have a huge audience.

Historia
The predominant view in the church today holds that seeing in the spirit is a rare gift given to only a few special people, or an anointing we must seek. With the same straightforward, down-to-earth style used in Divine Healing Made Simple, the author holds this view up to the light of scripture, and suggests that it has no biblical basis. Rather than being a gift given by God to only a few people, seeing in the spirit is an innate ability we all possess, which lies undeveloped in most of us. Through prayer, training and exercise, this ability can be awakened and used by virtually anyone. The author provides Bible-based teaching along with dozens of testimonies and illustrations. There are also practical exercises at the end of the chapters to help develop your ability to see in the spirit.

How do you spot an area poised for gentrification? Is spring or winter the best time to put your house on the market? Will a house on Swamp Road sell for less than one on Gingerbread Lane? The fact is that the rules of real estate have changed drastically over the past five years. To understand real estate in our fast-paced, technology-driven world, we need to toss out all of the outdated truisms and embrace today's brand new information. But how?

Zillow verbalizes their process
Revisado: 03-03-15
What did you like best about Zillow Talk? What did you like least?
The interesting data that gives them the insight on a property.
I liked least the Bloomberg type platform on taking away the home interest deduction. They describe it as an allowance by the government. They forget the money is ours that we pay our taxes with, not the allowance by government to determine what we have. What happened before 1913 when the income tax was originated? Citizens kept much more of their earnings.
Would you recommend Zillow Talk to your friends? Why or why not?
Yes - these guys have changed how we analyze purchases and sales of property.
What didn’t you like about Spencer Rascoff and Stan Humphries ’s performance?
Kind of dry at times, but interesting.
Was Zillow Talk worth the listening time?
Yes

Historia
Pat Conroy's father, Donald Patrick Conroy, was a towering figure in his son's life. The Marine Corps fighter pilot was often brutal, cruel, and violent; as Pat says, "I hated my father long before I knew there was an English word for 'hate.'" As the oldest of seven children who were dragged from military base to military base across the South, Pat bore witness to the toll his father's behavior took on his siblings, and especially on his mother, Peg. She was Pat's lifeline to a better world - that of books and culture.

Conroy shares his storytelling
Revisado: 11-17-10
This is one of Conroy's best works. My Reading Life breaks down Conroy's writing background and tells how his mentors had an inpact on him. Conroy tells much about what he felt about his many experiences reflected in his books. He also goes into wonderful detail about a great mentor, Gene Norris.
