Good job

The “pointing” was skillfully effective.
I’d recommend it to anyone looking for clarity and means of Awakening to Truth of What Is, while at the same time reconciling our experiences being lived in these body/mind “units”.

Historia
The legendary British actor Terence Stamp reads the book that he says 'changed his life'. This is an exploration of our existence and a journey towards enlightenment. In what the author calls 'the fine print' at the start of the book, David Carse wrote: 'There are many books out there that will help you to live a better life, become a better person, and evolve and grow to realise your potential as a spiritual being. This is not one of them....'

Outstanding

Not for everyone (as there isn’t anyone LOL!).
The point is driven home quite well and while the message isn’t intended to be comprehensible to the intellect / I derived much satisfaction on that front nonetheless. The narrator did incredible justice to the work and made an already enjoyable read an artfully wonderful listen! Hats off to you for this one.

Historia
Legion Dark Ops has always been a unit shrouded in secrecy. Tasked with performing covert missions, its kill teams are filled with the best warriors from within the ranks of the Legion. Kel Turner is one of the youngest legionnaires ever to be selected to its ranks. After many battles and trials, he is faced with the greatest challenge of his life - operating by himself on a remote planet at the galaxy's edge, a foot soldier for the policies of the duplicitous House of Reason, tasked with solving a crisis that would take ten kill teams to resolve.

The story behind the story!
Revisado: 05-30-20
I knew the storyline was going to be right up my alley. Doc Spears and I served in the same Special Forces unit years back and I knew there plenty of real-life examples ready to appear within fictional characters and scenarios...many you wouldn't believe if in non-fiction, so may as well have fun putting them to use in Dark Operator! No doubt quite a few veterans listening will be shaking their heads "yep, I could see it going down like that" ...Kudos for the work - Would appreciate better heads up on release dates from Audible/Amazon though, wouldn't have known this was out if a friend had not given me a heads up.

Historia
Plenty of experts argue that anyone who wants to develop a skill, play an instrument, or lead their field should start early, focus intensely, and rack up as many hours of deliberate practice as possible. But a closer look at research on the world’s top performers shows that early specialization is the exception, not the rule. David Epstein examined the world’s most successful athletes, artists, musicians, inventors, forecasters and scientists. He discovered that in most fields—especially those that are complex and unpredictable—generalists, not specialists, are primed to excel.

Best damn book of the year!
Revisado: 06-24-19
This book brought home a concept I’ve seen play out time and again - reminding me of Special Forces prior to 9-11 when each man started in a specialty and then cross trained with teammates of different specialties. Moving on to various languages, cultural immersion and learning esoteric skills.
This book is likely useful for many parents caught in the hyper specialization paradigm; to take a breath and put some exploration into the process.
I’m going to listen to it again this week - too many gems in this one - great job Epstein!
