Historia
The Pragmatist’s Guide to Relationships presents a data-driven dissection of sex, dating, and marriage by taking a deep dive into academic literature and stress testing strategies advocated by “marriage gurus” and self-styled pick-up artists. Combining insights from these disparate fields, we construct novel models detailing how humans secure partners and make long-term relationships work, while exploring how these systems can be exploited to one’s advantage in a world of broken dating markets and plummeting marriage rates.

Well written, definitely a different and more honest feeling take on relationship advice. Very well researched!

Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Really great story
Revisado: 05-23-21
I listened all the way through, and found the whole premise to be really interesting, if you liked the Martian odds are you will enjoy this. I do find the style of the story to maybe be a bit repetitive at times, you can pretty easily anticipate the “this should be easy, oh wait something went wrong all is lost, oh wait science to the rescue”, moments, so the peril didn’t always feel quite as perilous since I was always waiting for them to come up with the science solution. Rocky really grew on me though, I thought he was fantastic, really enjoyed the book up through the end!

Historia
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

Very enjoyable

Definitely a little slow to start and protagonist is pretty one dimensional, once skippy came into play things got a lot more fun, well worth the audible credit.
