Where to begin…It seems that Scarpetta’s character has become more uptight and rigid. The storyline jumps around too much and it’s hard to keep the reader’s attention. There’s too much going on without it all coming together. Lastly, the book endings are abrupt without resolution of issues.

Absolute Stunner

The story was gripping and the writing suspenseful. I would have never guessed the ending. this is one of the best books I have read/listened to in a long time.

Horrible Production

The production of this audio book was horrible. In addition to the end of the first chapter being cut off in the middle of a sentence, the male narrator read so slow it was hard to stay interested. The male narrator lack tone and inflection. The female narrator was slightly better but you could hear every time she swallowed. I could take it anymore and asked for a refund.

Too Drawn Out

I struggled with this last book. There were too many incidents between Marist and McAllister that were ridiculous in nature and it made me cringe. The fact that she allowed any of it was frustrating and would make anyone scream. This story could've been accomplished in 2 books. I'm glad Marist finally found her backbone so she and Royce could move on to a normal life.

OMG The Best

Loved it! Two of the best authors creating one story. this is the best book I've listed to all year. I can't wait for the next book to come out.

Worthy

I originally purchased this last year but had a difficult time getting through the 1st 4 chapters. I ended up returning it. After a friend's urging to give it another shot, I'm glad I did. if you can make it to Capter 5, the story grips and pulls you in.

Disappointed in the story

I was disappointed in how the characters weren't fully developed in this book. The male narrator wasn't a favorite and seemed stiff.

Don't Waste Your Credit

I think the storyline got lost in the poor performance of the narrator. it was very difficult to discern between the characters.
