Historia
The Science of Getting Rich is the classic guide to creating wealth through the Law of Attraction. First published in 1910, 100 years later it inspired Rhonda Byrne's best-selling book and movie, The Secret. According to Wallace D. Wattles, "There is a science of getting rich, and it is an exact science, like algebra or arithmetic. There are certain laws which govern the process of acquiring riches; once these laws are learned and obeyed by any man, he will get rich with mathematical certainty."

Smart Mob Novel with Culinary Flair
Revisado: 02-26-21
Goes nicely with a seafood entree or even a veal parm. Just make sure you don't skip the pairing.
A dark comedy that takes you to a side of junked up New York City and the Manhatten dining scene that usually isn't talked about. Fast paced novel that has interesting character development. Realistic as a fun mob crime story can get with a heavy focus around food and kitchen culture.

First Half is a Social Justice Warrior Rambling
Revisado: 10-22-20
First half is not informative or for someone seeking to understand racial differences. Author does not mention a single fact; only anecdotes of prejudice white people to black people until halfway through the book.
Author literally claims whatever she deems is racist is racist because she does not identify as white but as a person of color. First half of the book doesn't get past the race inequalities that exists. It illustrates inequalities are there for black people and she has experienced them. Strong use of identity politics to make it (nearly literally) black vs white. No real mention or investigation of Asian or Hispanic races and their experiences. The book does not do a great job of analyzing the issue, only blaming the current holders of power (which one assumes is monetary) for the state of racism. Only brushes over underlying causes of inequalities or the shortcomings of previous affirmative actions. Not much is said on how race issues exist in other parts of the world.
Author is passionate and her message is one of good value. The main take away is be accepting of all people, their experiences, and opportunities to learn from others. She wants to point out racial issues that exist but America may not be "woke" to regardless of race. For a deeper discussion on race and subliminal prejudice behavior in America, White Fragility by Robin DiAngelo is recommended.

Solid advice but nothing revolutionary if you have read management books of similar sorts in the last 5 years. Overviews very fundamental management techniques and how he implemented them in the military. Very general principals and tells stories to help the techniques set in.

Historia
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Historia
Product development is a team sport, but most companies don't practice it that way. Designers and engineers should be connecting with marketing, sales, customer support, suppliers, and, most importantly, customers. The Art of Product Design explains the rise of "Open Engineering", a way of breaking down barriers and taking advantage of web-based communities, knowledge, and tools to accelerate the design and manufacturing processes. It explains how to establish open flows of information inside and outside an organization.

Just one long commerical for GrabCAD
Revisado: 06-20-19
I feel as is I should be paid for listening. Listened for 2 hours and it's just one big GrabCAD promotion. I was excited about the CEO's story, Product Design and Mechanical Engineering.
The entire book can be summed up with "For Design you must learn 3D CAD, use GrabCAD for that it's the future".
