Historia
Emme Wynn has wanted nothing more her whole life than to feel like part of a family. Having grown up on the run with her con artist mother, she’s been shuffled from town to town, drawn into bad situations, and has learned some unsavory habits that she’s tried hard to overcome. When her estranged grandmother tracks her down out of the blue and extends a job offer—helping to run her booth at an open-air marketplace in small-town Sweetgrass, Alabama—Emme is hopeful that she’ll finally be able to plant the roots she’s always dreamed of.

From the moment that begins to the moment it ends, it keeps you completely drawn in.
This is one of the best books I have listened to in a very long time. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone and everyone!

Good Story, But……
Revisado: 06-22-23
I didn’t think I was going to make it past chapter 6. Most it was felt like being educated on bee’s. It dragged on so long you start skipping parts. After chapter 6 it starts to pick up. The love story between Travis and Natalie is creepy, Travis is more like an obsessed stalker.
If you can make it past chapter 6 you might enjoy the rest of the book.

Felt like a school play
Revisado: 12-26-22
I didn’t make it past the first chapter. The book was written like it was for a high school play that you were listening to on the radio. The narrator was like a bad actor. Overly dramatic. The book was written, like I said a high school play. We had to turn it off.

I couldn’t handle the narrator
Revisado: 08-18-22
I was really looking forward to this book. It sounded like a great story. I wish I could’ve selected no stars for the overall in the story because I actually didn’t get a chance to listen to it I couldn’t make it past the first chapter. Make sure you listen to the sample before you purchase the book. For me, it was a lesson learned

I couldn’t handle the narrator
Revisado: 08-18-22
I honestly tried to listen to this book, but two chapters in I just can’t take the narrator anymore. This might have been a good book, I don’t know. Make sure you listen to the sample before you buy it. Mine was a lesson learned

Jumps around a lot
Revisado: 06-11-22
The narrator was hard to get use too. Didn’t use a lot is voice changes.
You have to play close attention, because it jumps from story to without a breath in between.
It took us a while to get use to it. It’s was nice hearing more of the story line.

Ending left you hanging!!
Revisado: 08-08-21
I hope there is another book to this one. It left so many story lines open. I couldn’t believe it ended like that. And no epilogue to close out what the daughter ended up doing, and what happened with her father and meeting the rest of her family and where did the relationship lead to with Julie and the one that helped her? So disappointed with this ending!!

Good until the end
Revisado: 03-17-19
It was a great story and was easy to follow. However the last 40 minutes of the book went into fast pace and skipping blocks of time. It was like they were in a hurry and rush to make an ending in a fast track manner. They would’ve been better off doing an epilogue. I was really disappointing on the ending it was so rushed.
